We cruised from there a total of eight times last year with zero issues but we were in one of the two existing terminals. It seems that when more than two ships are in port then it changes. I did see where there is now a plan in place to add two more additional terminals which is needed.

In a chance that either you or another member sees this post, can you drop luggage at terminal 46 and then drive and park at terminal 93? Would there be a shuttle back to B46 for checking in? Seems that it would make the debarkation process easier on our return as we will docking at B93 on our return. It may be easier to leave our car at the hotel during the cruise and grab a taxi to and from the port.

I noticed for our cruise in April that the Solstice will use B-50 in San Pedro as there will be two Princess ships in port that day as well. Princess gets the two dedicated terminals. I know that this is an outer pier with no dedicated terminal and only used for an overflow situation. Anyone have any experience using this terminal with Celebrity? How do they handle embarkation? Thanks…

Some people should just cruise HAL………

Based on our last cruise in December, we dined in the buffet twice which was lunch. Never stepped foot there at dinner. While Cruise Critic is a small sampling of cruisers, it looks as though most either skip the buffet all together or only a few times per sailing.

Very nice review. Glad to see that Ocean Cay was not turned into an amusement park. Looks like a very relaxing island.

For those that scarf down all of the previously frozen imported shrimp in shrimp cocktails, I suggest that you skip reading about where and how the shrimp are farmed.

Thanks for your comments. While we have seen a few things that we are not happy with, we will continue cruising with Celebrity. The product is still very good.

We were on the Solstice last month (not an E class) and overall the food in Luminae was fine. Just like dining in other venues there was items on the menu that did not interest us but the overall quality was good as was the service. We saw no issues.

Celebrity would not honor this. There is a current situation where guests booked certain cruises and the price was incorrect (underpriced). Celebrity has now contacted those guests and gave them the option of repricing the cruise at the higher price or cancel and receive a refund. If this is a known error and you’re trying to take advantage of it then that’s wrong. Do the right thing.

You won’t find a bar similar to the Schooner bar IMHO. They do have live entertainment at the Ensemble bar but it’s a little different than the Schooner.

More than likely a glitch. Had this happen last year on RCI. We were paid in full and I received an email stating that we owed a balance. It turned out to be a glitch in their system but I did have to call. Also, last year on X, our balance went up so I had to contact my CVP to have it corrected. This has been happening for a long time and RCG cannot correct the issue.

This is not new. It’s been in place since at least early fall. Does not make a difference if you’re booked in the retreat. Everyone who books specialty dining pays the gratuity.

This would not surprise me at all if it did happen.

I can assure that we are not that young and certainly do not fit the party crowd but yes we were a target. Even had a man and women pushing a baby carriage asking me if I wanted “blow” while tapping his nose. That one surprised me. Wasn’t expecting that from what appeared to be parents with a baby.

It worked for us by doing this. It did take signing out of the app and then sign back in. All info was back.

I’m not concerned. The information was there but suddenly disappeared a few days ago. The message states to check back in a few days. This is a common issue for a good number of people.

There are a lot of ships listed on multiple sites. Another site has RCI’s Grandeur listed for 110 million. It’s been listed for years. As stated, any ship is for sale of the price is right.

The breakfast selections look very good. A nice selection.

At the martini bar it was a mixed bag but most of the time it was the smaller glass. At other bars, it was always the smaller glass.
