We were just there on February 4, 2024. We had a 5:30 reservation for dinner. It was amazing! Our dinner and drinks were awesome and the service was great! We would do it again in a heartbeat. Well worth it!

Thanks for all of your replies. A lot of horror stories, to be sure. It's not worth the hassle for a free shuttle. My plan now is to be one of the last ones off of the Beyond and walk to the Liberty, if the Liberty is at pier 19. If the Liberty is at pier 18, we will gladly get a cab. Either way, we're going to have a great time!

We are doing a cruise on Celebrity Beyond and then getting on the RCCL Liberty of the Seas. Same port, sale day. My question is: Does Celebrity offer a shuttle to the next pier in Port Everglades for us? Probably pier 25 to pier 18. TIA

I've been on both the Equinox and the Silhouette. I prefer the Silhouette because it has the Lawn Club Grill (make sure to have the warm chocolate chip cookie for dessert!) and the Porch (great lobster rolls!). The Silhouette also has nice seating areas towards the back of the ship on the sides of the Sunset Bar.

We were on Explorer for the last two cruises before dry dock. What did they do to the pool deck area, if anything?

We used to add an extra tip on the signed slip but stopped doing that when we heard from one of our favorite bartenders on Royal Caribbean that if you put $1 extra tip on the slip, the bartender only gets 7 cents out of that dollar. RC gets the rest. We only give cash tips to bartenders now and they are very appreciative of it.

Yes, I had many a Kettle One and diet tonic last spring on Silhouette.
My personal retreat host even put a couple of bottles in the cabin when he saw a bottle I had acquired from the bar and brought back to the room.
Thanks for the info!

Hello fellow Minnesotan! 😊
Yes, Celebrity DOES usually have diet tonic, we often drink Gin & Diet Tonics so we have had this on a variety of ships.
You need to ask for it specifically, and sometimes the bartender will ‘sigh’ as you ask for it, because they serve it out of bottles and sometimes they need to go to the refrigerator for it or even in the backroom (takes a little more time to access it), but we have usually gotten diet tonic without too much trouble. The brands we remember are Canadian Club, Seagrams, …
Thank you, fellow Minnesotan! I will ask for the diet tonic next month. I don't care if they sigh when I ask for it...after the first cash tip to them, I don't think they will mind getting the diet tonic! 😃

Does Celebrity have diet tonic? We're on the Silhouette in December.

I never cease to be intrigued by this question. In all my cruises over the last 20 years, I’ve never once wondered who the cruise director was on a particular sailing. What in the world am I missing?
We were on the Silhouette last December and had a gal for a cruise director. I can't remember her name, it might be Angela, and her husband Dave was her Activities director/manager. They were a hoot and I was hoping they were still on the Silhouette when we cruise soon. In all of our 30+ cruises, we've had some great cruise directors and some not so great.

Can anyone tell me who the cruise director is on the Silhouette right now? TIA

Question: On the Silhouette, cabin # 9284, is the bed by the balcony or the bathroom? I looked on the spreadsheet for the S class ships, but there are no reviews for 9284. I know that they leap frog every other cabin, but on the spreadsheet, 9282 is by the bathroom, but # 9286 & 9288 are both by the balcony. Has anyone stayed in 9284 that can help me? Thank you!

We are going to be on the Explorer January 21, 2023 for the last sailing before the Amplification. It is going to be a 110 million dollar update.

Thank you!

What if you redeem the points for OBC and you test positive for COVID 2 days before embarkation and can't get on the ship? Do you get the credit back?

Just off Millennium yesterday. We had 880 passengers with only about 10 kids!

Looking at available cabins, sales must go well. When shopping around for Mediterranean cruise in April, May or June on Beyond, Edge or Reflection, only very small number of free cabins where shown
(on both US and German large Cruise Agencies which show all availables not like X who shows always small nr cabins).
I just found this to be the case last week when booking a Panama Canal/Southern Caribbean cruise on the Beyond for January 2024. Not many open cabins showing available, even though it was two years out. I even checked on another travel website and they showed the same few rooms available. On the Celebrity website, I did a search for the cabin I wanted, even though it showed unavailable on the deck plans. I put the number in and it WAS available. Checked a few more in that area and they were available as well. I called Celebrity and booked the room I wanted. So, lesson learned...just because it looks like there are only a few rooms available, it is not necessarily the case.

I think they also keep the prices high to limit capacity. Even though there are lots of cabins showing as available the price has actually gone up in the past 2 weeks.
By my unscientific count 45% of cabins are still available meaning the other 55% are either sold or otherwise blocked.
We are on the Millennium on March 21 and YES, the prices have gone way up the last 2 weeks. It is now over $2000 more for our balcony cabin than when we booked it the beginning of January!
I just hope that the capacity limits aren't higher now because of Spring Break. We were on the Silhouette in December and again in January. Only about 30% capacity then. It was great!

I got the email on Wednesday. We are Elite with an upcoming cruise on the Silhouette in January. I couldn't pass up the deal, so I booked the Silhouette for December 13, also. I even got the same room for both cruises.. Different itineraries. I guess Celebrity knew who they were targeting when they sent me that email! 😁

Out of all of our many cruises, Vision was my least favorite ship. Haven't been on Adventure, but on her sister ship Navigator. Much preferred over the Vision.

We booked our Nov. 2020 Panama Canal full transit over a year ago. We paid $6400 total for a veranda with free drink pkg for two and pre paid gratuities. At the highest price for the same category, it was over $13,000! 😲 I knew it was a great price when we booked!

On Feb. 21, 2019, I booked Summit Panama Canal 15 night for Nov. 2020. I paid $6401.00 for a 2B Veranda with free prepaid gratuities and classic drink package for two. Today, I checked pricing and it was $3080.00 more than what I booked at! I guess I booked at the right time!! Pricing right now is crazy!

I was on a b2b on the Harmony in January. We had the most uncomfortable mattress! We have been on many, many RCCL cruises, but this by far was the hardest mattress yet! We were on Celebrity Equinox last October and that bed was great.

Back to Back different ships, same day, same port question

Just an update. We were able to get off the Beyond at terminal 25 and walk through the parking garage to terminal 19. The hard part was going from the beautiful Celebrity Beyond with only 3 kids on board to the RCCL Liberty of the Seas with over 500 kids on board! The only reason I booked the Liberty was to go to Perfect Day at Coco Cay and go to the Coco Beach Club. So worth it!!
