Please RCCL - keep it simple
The new website is horrible - I would jump on RCCL about 3-4 times per week and look for cruises with our AFT/hump cabins available - can't do that anymore...
It's very frustrating to have to go through all the steps and still not be able to see rooms available - That's half the fun - picking our room :)
PLEASE HEAR US - make it user friendly
I totally agree with this!!
RCCL, I hate your new website!!!

88 Days...just booked yesterday.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites in NOLA in January for two nights before our cruise. We got a great rate on Priceline for it. We loved the complimentary breakfast and the manager's cocktail reception. (We also loved Lucy's retired surfer's bar a block away!) The hotel is close to the port and it's within walking distance to the French quarter. I would recommend the ES and would stay there again.

Thanks for the link, Minnesotamamafish! It looks like it will be $140 for the week.

Need to know if there are any of the lots at the port that will allow us to park our 40' motorhome. Also, does anyone know how much it will cost for 7 days while we're on the Liberty next January?

I was on the Serenade last week when the damage occurred. There was a water pipe that burst on deck 11 at the front of the ship. The cabins affected were all at the front.
-
We just got off a B2B on the Serenade and had cabin 8594 on the center of the hump. We love this location as it is close to the elevators and you are not bothered by the noise in the Centrum at night because of the wall that separates the cabins and the Centrum. It's also a great location because you can see forward and aft from your balcony and there are no obstructions from the lifeboats below you, so you can see right to the water. I always book a mid ship cabin as I am prone to seasickness.

We had 9586 on the Radiance for Alaska. We love the center hump so you can see to the front and the rear. Plus, it's close to the elevators and behind the wall for the Centrum, so noise wasn't an issue.

We did a B2B on Allure in January 2011. One week is not enough time to see and do everything on that amazing ship!

Missing Coco Cay last January :( Hope we make it this January :)

We love to go for two weeks in January. It gets us out of the frigid temps of Minnesota and shortens up the Winter for us. The prices are good and there are very few kids on board. It gives us something to look forward to after the busy holiday season.

42 days until Serenade. I just need to get through the holidays and then it will be time to sail :)
-
We're on a B2B in January. I paid the cruises off in full in October and since it's tagged as a B2B, I can't see any pricing when I look online either under my cruises or countdown to cruise. I'm a little nervous now after reading this thread. I guess I'd better call C & A dept. tomorrow! I'd hate to have my cruise cancelled after booking it a year and a half ago.

We have 160 right now and will be at 174 after our B2B in January on the Serenade. We'll be 1 point short of D+ when we get off of the ship.

I know a woman that flew into Miami from Minnesota the day of the cruise. Her flight had been delayed and as they were approaching the airport, she saw her ship leaving without her. She had to catch up to it at the next port. :(
-
We stayed at the Intercontinental a couple of years ago. It's on a beautiful beach, has a nice pool area and is close to the airport.
-
We always fly in at least two days early. We get to spend time sightseeing in the port city and we don't have to worry about flying in the day of the cruise, being delayed and possibly missing the ship. In all of our cruises, we have only flown in the day of the cruise one time. It was my first cruise, I had won it through my employer and I didn't make any of the arrangements for the trip. It was all done for us.
