There is a small convenience store close to the port that sells wine. It is on the corner of Rosenberg and the Strand, across from the Railroad Museum. There is also another liquor store about 4 blocks East of there on the Strand.

Liberty has left the dock.

Does anyone know why the Liberty is still at the dock in Galveston? It should have left hours ago.

We love all of those ports, so we are doing a B2B on the Liberty in January!
Grand Cayman, we are doing the Rays, Reef and Rum Point with Nativeway
Jamaica, staying at the port at Margaritaville. (Been to Dunns River Falls and the Irie Blue Hole already)
Cozumel, going to our favorite: Paradise Beach
Roatan, going to Big French Key
Costa Maya, going to the beach at Mahahual
Cozumel, probably going back to Paradise Beach...we love it there!

Booked on Liberty for January 2018 and Harmony for January 2019

We have been on both the Vision and the Liberty. I would say that out of all of our cruises, the Vision was my least favorite while the Liberty is my most favorite. We like it so much, we're going on a B2B on it next January!

We love the center hump cabins on deck 8

Try Paradise Beach in Cozumel. They have a beautiful pool and nice beach there. You can also parasail from the dock there. We've been there many times.

I have been using Ginger Root capsules since 2008 and I know they work for me. I start taking them a couple of days before we fly out for our cruise. I take 2 capsules in the morning and 2 before dinner. I also keep taking them for a couple of days after we get home from a cruise. It helps while you get your land legs back. Also, if we are taking an excursion on a small boat, I sometimes supplement the ginger with Dramamine.
I also use ginger root capsules for car sickness. If I don't take them, I cannot look down at a map or my phone without feeling sick. If I take them, I have no problem with that or riding in the back seat of a moving car.
I like the fact that Ginger Root Capsules are a natural supplement, not a drug. I used the patch on my first cruise in 1992. What a disaster! I had such terrible side effects from it; blurred vision and extreme dry mouth. I took it off halfway during the cruise and had such withdrawl symptoms, I had to put another one on to finish the cruise. Once I got home, I took it off and had the withdrawl symptoms once again. NEVER AGAIN FOR ME!

Skip all of that and take Ginger Root Capsules. They really work! I couldn't cruise without them as I am very prone to seasickness.I'm worried about sea sickness. I could get the patch for $40 but not sure what the side effects are. Is bonine better than Dramamine? I don't want to be sleepy when drinking! Thank you for any helpSent from my iPhone using Forums

Jewel last month had Kim.... drawing a blank....was walking by when the bar was full and everyone was singing so I stopped and spent an hour singing and drinking with strangers/my 4 new best friends :)
Went back 2 more times hear his whole set and he was ok in parts and excellent in others. With the right crowd it was alot of fun.
Was his name Kim Kinrade? We had him on the Liberty repo cruise in November and we thought he was very entertaining. (He said he was from Canada) We were on the Liberty 6 weeks later and had some other guy that was terrible.

We've stayed at the Intercontinental for a few days before a cruise. We liked the hotel and it has a beautiful pool area and nice beach.Thank you, everyone, for the information. We are flying in the day before the cruise but our flight doesn't get in until 2pm. I figure it will be 3pm by the time we get to our hotel. Is this too late to start walking around Old San Juan? I imagine the forts close at 5pm...?
We have looked at the Intercontinental; that looks like a good hotel for the post cruise stay. We will probably just want to lay by the pool or on the beach by then.

I called C & A this morning and was told that maybe a large group bought them up. Ummm, no, I'm not buying that! :(Yes it looks that way. A couple of people have reported calling and being told they were removed for inventory maintenance. I just looked at one in November where it is still showing $818 for a JS but when you follow thru on the pricing it comes out to around $1200.Hope they let those that booked keep their bookings

All of the Suites for January 2018 on the Adventure are showing as sold out. I wonder if RCCL has taken them off to re-price them. They were a great deal! :rolleyes:If you are a fan of the San Juan itineraries and do not mind the Adventure of the Seas, take a look at the Suite prices...very attractive right now!:):)BILL

We loved the Intercontinental at Isla Verde. Beautiful grounds, pool and beach. Close to the airport, too.

I agree with Carol! :)Silly wabbit! The answer is obvious.

The wife had the Ultimate, I had the Premium. We never ran into a situation of ordering drinks at a higher cost than the pkg would cover. We ordered top shelf for everything as well. Patron, Gentleman Jack, Titos, Grey Goose, It's our opinion the the pkgs are the way to go on a 3 port cruise. The Ultimate offered the specialty coffees, and the fresh squeezed OJ (which is very delicious) Between the bottle waters, beers, wine and drinks, it's a good deal. I don't think the wife used hers to the fullest extent. But I really don't mind. She's pretty frugal and if she had to pay for each of her drinks, she would limit herself based on cost. And... I don't want her to do this so I just buy her the pkg. I think she had maybe a max of 4 drinks for only one day. I recognize that to some it just doesn't make sense, but I want her to cruise worry free and not swet the small stuff. :D
You'll need to do the math for your level of drinking. Figure $12/drink, add bottled water @ $4 ea.
Does the Liberty now have Tito's vodka? We were on the last sailing of the Liberty before dry dock and there was no Tito's!

150 Central park or Chops grille?
in Royal Caribbean International

We were on the Harmony B2B Jan. 13 & 20, 2019. We were offered a 20% discount by Sami, one of the waiters at 150 Central Park. We had a wonderful dinner. The bread is soooo delicious, I had the scallops for an app, Tenderloin for main course and fried cheesecake for dessert. Sami, our waiter was great! I was told that they recently updated their menu. This was the first time eating at 150, so I have nothing to compare it to. It was all so good, I will eat at 150 again!
