  1. I really, really hate fast food. The burgers are small and often cold, the fries taste like rubber, and it's all over priced. I just can't stand to eat that junk. Oh by the way, I'm having lunch there 3 days next week.๐Ÿคช
  2. And that, my friends, is the difference between "Eating" and "Dining"
  3. It's good to be a male....
  4. From a former Coastie, thank you!!
  5. Brings back memories of the "foot long" Subway sandwich problem. Didn't work out too well for the filer of the suite. 'Worthless' Subway 'Footlong' sandwich settlement is thrown out: U.S. court By Jonathan Stempel 3 MIN READ (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Friday threw out a class-action settlement intended to resolve claims that the Subway sandwich chain deceived customers by selling โ€œFootlongโ€ subs that were less than a foot long.
  6. In some cases, too long๐Ÿ™ƒ
  7. Serious question. What would happen if everyone removed the automatic daily tips?
  8. Of course if you would like you bags to take the same vacation as you, it might be wise to slip them a few bucks.
  9. This info may be outdated judging by the mention of ships that are no longer in the fleet. https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=225 Holland America Line Smoking is permitted on the starboard side of the Sea View Bar/Pool (port side on Koningsdam, Prinsendam and Nieuw Statendam); the Sports Deck forward and starboard side of the Crow's Nest aft on Maasdam, Veendam, Volendam, Zaandam, Rotterdam and Amsterdam; the Oak Room on Noordam (including cigars and pipes); and the Sun Bar on Koningsdam and Nieuw Statendam. Smoking is allowed in all casinos (apart from special nonsmoking days), except Zuiderdam, Oosterdam, Westerdam and Eurodam, which have entirely smoke-free casinos. Cigar and pipe smoking is only allowed on the designated outside deck areas apart from the Oak Room. E-cigarettes are allowed in designated smoking areas, as well as inside passenger staterooms (but not on balconies).
  10. Looks kinda like lunch time at a retirement home.
  11. 100 percent cruise cost refund should be given by HAL to the hero who spotted them. He/She saved 11 lives.
  12. While we didn't find Key West to be our "cup of tea", the drive down from the main land is not to be missed. It's the most beautiful road trip we've ever taken. Knowing how that road was constructed makes it even more of an adventure. Full history video (44 min.) here
  13. Not saying this didn't happen, but I do wonder how you were able to get this information? Was it traveling companions or just something you overheard?
  14. Real ID-approved licenses will be required on all domestic flights. Here's how to get yours. https://www.cnet.com/culture/after-this-date-youll-need-real-id-to-fly-heres-what-to-know/
  15. Thank You. Glad you have a sense of humor.๐Ÿ™ƒ
  16. Is there a way to know when a ship is in Drydock? Yes. If there is no water under it, chances are good that it's in Drydock.๐Ÿ˜
  17. Check out the monitor in the bottom right of this movie screen shot!
  18. $700 = Yes $800 = Maybe $950 = No
  19. Hey, don't you pick on Lenny's. It's one of the best "clam shack's" in CT.
  20. If you declare you have an UNLOADED firearm in your checked bag (and yes, it's legal to do) the airline will pay special attention to the location of your bag and it will not be lost. If you are not comfortable with a real gun, buy a starter pistol that doesn't fire rounds. Of course if you're flying to a cruise, that might not be the best option๐Ÿ˜
