  1. On our last few cruises we have been getting the cookies I called yesterday to C&A to check on my gift preferences and was told no towels available, so I just ordered a 3rd bottle of champagne for our Oasis cruise in Dec. I bring them home and enjoy them!
  2. We were on Explorer for a B2B in April and had a 2 top every night. Some nights line was a little long, but never anything terrible.
  3. El Loco Fresh is great! We love it for snacks on Freedom, never go to the WJ for lunch anymore. I love the Black Beans and husbands loves the pulled pork.
  4. CocoCay is an amazing place. You can spend a ton, or like us, spend nothing but tips. We have the drink pkg, so drinks are included. We grab free loungers/umbrella at the beach and relax for the day. We go to the free buffet for lunch. If you are on the beach, you don't even know the waterpark stuff is there. CocoCay is one of our favorite places, we were there Saturday and spent 8 hours on the beach. Pool is also free, but we don't go there, much rather be on the beach. So much to do there that doesn't cost any money at all. Truly a magical place. Been there over 80 times and never get tired of it.
  5. We normally book for the itinerary, do lots of 3 night cruises on Freedom since we live in Florida. Cruising out of San Juan is our favorite for 7 nights as we love the Southern Caribbean and the port intensive cruises. Doing Oasis in Dec again, and booked Western for the Itin and Oasis so we could be back on the Oasis Class ship again.
  6. we are in CocoCay all the time with 2 ships. We don't do the pool as I am a beach person, but we get off early and get a front row seat at the beach. Even later, we notice plenty of places to relax. Pool gets busier, so I would guess get off by 10 at the latest
  7. Same here. We always have the package and can get drinks in WJ on disembarkation day all the time. Never tried to use our Vouchers on that day since we always have the package.
  8. One it is like 3 hours long. People either love it or hate it. I have read so many people say they walk out of it, so we have no desire to see it. I love broadway musicals, that is just one we could care less about.
  9. Orient is about a 25 minute cab drive and about $50 round trip I think for 4 people. Since the hurricane, not much out there. Don't know about the excursion in St Thomas since we just grab a cab and either go to Coki Beach or Sapphire Beach.
  10. If you go into RoyalCaribbean.com, click on "ships" and then "things to do". You can see what shows are on what ship. Symphony has Hairspray which is fantastic. Harmony has Grease which is also amazing. Oasis has CATS and we won't go to that. Allure has Mama Mia, one of our favorites. Liberty has Saturday Night Fever. Wonder does not have a Broadway show. If you want to see what else they have just go to the website
  11. Most cruises are now back to full capacity. We love it, so nice to see ships full again.
  12. We are on the same itinerary on Oasis out of Miami in Dec. It is a good route, but when I originally booked it, it was because it was going to Labadee. Then they changed it to CocoCay. We love CocoCay but we are there like 10 times a year, so really wanted to go to Labadee for this cruise. Been to all these island many times and just do our own thing.
  13. We like Deck 8, 9 or 10 aft right near the Music Hall (or Dazzles). We always do an ocean view balcony.
  14. I always check in for the 2nd lef, but do not print out boarding passes since obviously you do not need them.
  15. My husband wears slacks and a Tommy Bahama button up shirt with nice sandals. We used to dress to the max, but not anymore.
  16. to leave Miami, if you have a balcony, the Port Side as the view is much better. On the islands, you never know, depends on if the captain goes into the pier front or back.
  17. We did a B2B in June on Freedom and did not have to get tested between cruises.
  18. you will love it. Not the bells and whistles Freedom has because not upgraded yet (so no El Loco Fresh, no colorful pool, no Lime & Coconut), but still wonderful. Love Saturday Night Fever!
  19. been on Liberty before, but been a while. We have 4 booked on Liberty now - Christmas, Jan/Feb/Mar. Looking forward to going on her again.
  20. Voyager Class or above. We love the Promenade and the variety of entertainment.
  21. We have been on a number of cruises since Covid, and think the food is just fine. Husband thinks plenty of choices and is plenty happy with the quality. If he orders something and it doesn't come out right, he asks for it to be sent back and get a new one. Staff has been amazing on all of our cruises, so we are totally happy. Going on Freedom again this Friday.
  22. We did a B2B in April on Explorer (same size as Voyager) and loved it. San Juan is our favorite port to cruise from since you have long port days. We are doing Voyager March 26th next year and cannot wait. You will be fine - doesn't have the bells/whistles that the Oasis Class has, but we don't need all that stuff. I would much rather have the great port days! I love the Oasis Class, but you cannot beat going out of San Juan and having all those wonderful port days.
