    On Freedom Aug 19th, crew were wearing the light blue one, but they all had them on.

    I agree, I want paper, but when on Freedom Aug 19th weekend, could not get one at all, either from our stateroom person or at Guest Services. Will see if I can get a paper one when on Freedom the 16th of Sept.

    At home husband eats around 5 or 5:30, but when we travel we never eat that early. We enjoy predinner cocktails when traveling and stay up later, so always eat later. Most of the time we are not even finished with the pool or beach until at least 4:30.

    We rarely go to eat before 7 or 7:30 so MTD works perfect for us.

    Every cruise we are on there are 2 lines for MTD. one with reservations and one without. We rarely make reservations as to us the whole point of MTD is eating when we feel like it. We could care less if we have the same waitstaff so rarely wait more than 10 minutes for a table.

    I take a cooler with me if I want beer in the cabin. Have your cabin person keep it full of ice and you are good to go.

    That is exactly what I did when my mom/aunt went on a trip with a bunch of us. I did their check-in online for them and that made it easy for them.

    yes you can use the computers on the ship. You just log in under you username/password. Just make sure to log out when you are done.

    Royal did not cruise in this summer out of San Juan and are not cruising out of San Juan next summer either. I hope they start again, but as of now, nothing out of San Juan until late fall. Nov 6th is the earliest this fall and Nov 18, 2023 is the earliest on Voyager. May 30, 2023 is the last one out of San Juan next year until November.

    When you sign into the internet on the ship, you select Internet, then the basic internet for 24 hours. When you enter your name, room # and Bday it will deduct your free amount so you will pay nothing for the 24 hour period. It is pretty easy to do, just follow the prompts.

    My husband thinks the prime rib is really good in the MDR as well as the beef tenderloin. He thinks that is super tender.

    If going on Freedom, they never even look at your boarding time. You just go to the waiting lounge and as soon as boarding starts, they let you board by row until everyone is boarded.

    I have all 19 of mine prepaid except for the one next month, so we should be good at the old rate. I will pay the new rate in Sept as they messed up this cruise so much I am afraid to call and prepay the tips in fear of what will happen. It took 6 months to get it fixed and numerous emails/calls, so this particular one I will leave alone!

    We always prepay our tips, but then tip cash to individual staff as we want at the end of the cruise. I would never not do the prepay tips as they deserve it, just always pay extra. we tip cash during the cruise to bar servers, WJ breakfast, etc and then tip dining room and cabin person extra cash at the end of the cruise.

    We always booked Deck 8 right by the elevators and never hear any noise at all.

    I know exactly what the price is before I go, then book with Next Cruise. If it goes down when I get home, I reprice, but don't lose my OBC for booking on the ship. Win/Win

    We are on Freedom tomorrow also and cannot wait. Love that ship.

    Usually (at least on other Oasis Class ships we have been on) the belly flop contest is held in the Aqua theater, which is why we never go.

    Totally agree, we always get ours the day before when we leave the pool area.

    They do have a towel stations, but many times run out and have to wait for fresh. We always take our own from the ship, much easier.

    We have all of ours in the living room on the credenza/liquor cabinet. Love displaying them, they are pretty.

    No, you want have any problems. We were on both islands 2 times in April, and we just grabbed a cab inside the port area and did our own thing. No issues at all.

    You can take it anytime Wed, Thurs, or Friday. Day of the cruise does not count.

    It is great! Not much small than Freedom so probably really won't much difference
