  1. On grandeur several people in JS were below the solarium with lots of noise. Be prepared for wherever you are moved if you win.
  2. Mom and child in the suite can eat their meals in coastal kitchen. Better service and a few different meal choices. Dad and child not in a suite cant eat there. Ck = coastal kitchen I mentioned above. It's for suite guests plus some extras like pinnacles. Place to eat meals on oasis class.
  3. Allure of the seas, the suite lounge will have wine and beer for the suite occupants. In the morning there is a specialty coffee machine and a continental breakfast. Happy hour is free drinks and finger food, hot and cold. Those in the suite can eat at CK. Coastal kitchen. Not those not in a suite. No guests allowed. I dont know I found any deep shade in coco cay. So I can see buying a cabana for you but if it's in a pay area everyone has to pay. I found a picnic table near the food and free beach where I ate. Not deep shade, maybe some palm trees for shade. Deep shade will be hard imo. Cabanas are really expensive though. Black Friday they were half priced last year. Teill park is the rides, the other is good for a lobster and shrimp lunch included in the price. The ice skating show and diving are both good for kids. You said just one for the kids.
  4. On adventure I'm pretty sure sorrentos is combined with the cafe. After the buffet closes pizza place is about the only late night option besides room service I can think of.
  5. Idk which pay area in coco cay you are thinking about a cabana. The 2 pay areas you would have to purchase admittance for each person. There are lots of free areas. There is a shuttle train that goes around to the different areas. I dont think it means 4 is a minimum age, but rather under 4 doesnt have to pay.
  6. Insides are seriously small lol. I did grandeur last year to get pts for the DP340. I had a chair in front of the mirror area right before the bathroom. I finally picked it up and put it back at the end of my closet and put that little table there. One cabin the chair was missing. ..its in the way. Interiors say 136 sf. Seemed smaller.
  7. No the new terminal is about 10 blocks away. They used to use terminal 2, which is now terminal 28. Terminal 1 which carnival uses is now terminal 25. Also no sidewalks along there between old and new. I guess voyager will be in thr old terminal. Cruise Terminal 28(formerly Cruise Terminal 2)
  8. Solarium is usually the ,east crowded for breakfast. ..though it was more crowded on oasis than on allure recently. I guess the secret is out that it's a quiet not crowded place for breakfast. I do remember though oasis didnt open the same time each morning. I assumed for port vs sea days.
  9. That's what bella2 is doing. 1 night between wonder and utopia. I was thinking the OP didnt see the dates arent the same. There wouldnt be ships ships in the same terminal together the same day unless there is a emergency.
  10. Well he said Galveston so all rcl leaves from the same terminal, but not on the same day.
  11. Switching ships would be like 2 separate cruises. It's not treated like a b2b since it's a different ship.
  12. My memory might not be totally correct but I ate a lot in the solarium. My memory is it opened 2 different times, based on if it was a sea or port day.
  13. I've probably used the obc from shareholders obc a dozen times since covid. One of the other who answered you is a travel agent and has the experiences of all his clients to draw from. Everyone who replied cruises a lot. I get it you think we might be wrong and now added have we actually done this ... YES. This site if someone posted incorrect there would be tons correcting them.
  14. PC, port Canaveral the rcl adventure is doing some 6/8 with interesting ports. I booked 3 on adventure about a month ago, and see prices have gone up since then. Wow. I wanted a eastern and a southern. I added the xmas cruise dec 2024 to a eastern. The 6 days in between to me not that interesting. My carnival cruise hits some nice ports the A and C of ABC islands, havent seen bonaire. My april 2025 in my signature. The dec 8 day eastern I havent been to DR and one other. I wanted more but the prices doubled since they came out. Rcl generally is cheapest when first released, unlike carnival. So I'm waiting until nov when the next batch is released for the following year to load up. PC is the busiest cruise port in the world and prices reflect that, it's not just mardi gras. I'm moving there so will put up with the prices. I plan on mardi gras too. But it's a easy b2b, stay in the same cabin, a bit different ports. My 8 day eastern, 6 day over xmas to grand bahamas (news to me ships stopped here), southern. Easy b2b dec 13, dec 21 2024. .. alternating 8 and 6 days. Eastern, western and a couple southern. VISITING: Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic San Juan, Puerto Rico Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida VISITING: Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida Labadee, Haiti Falmouth, Jamaica Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida
  15. Maybe since july 9th boarded it no longer shows on the site to sell cruises. Cant buy for today? So its possibly today, too late to show on a site to sell cruises.
  16. I dont see any ships departing from baltimore july 9th. I checked a site which shows the common lines.
  17. I would go to the loyalty ambassador the first leg to give him a heads up. He isnt that easy to see imo. I've often waited close to a hour during his short hours hes on duty. When you reboard maybe also talk to the diamond ambassador so he can email the loyalty ambassador. He will be there during dinner, the loyalty guy may not even have hours the day you reboard. I would be proactive, but that's me.
  18. I've had that happen. I saw a much lower amount some months ago that the going amount. Told my TA who saw only the higher numbers. He couldnt book at the price I saw. Eventually I just let it go. I have seen what you describe though. I wasnt booked just saw a too low price on a mock booking.
  19. They add up my obc and show it as a total. They have always since I've cruised allowed obc to be used toward tips. If they change it I'm sure there would be a huge outcry. In the case of refundable and nonrefundable obc, nonrefundable woukd be used first. In your case both are nonrefundable and are treated the same. Not one person has ever said their nonrefundable obc was broken up by which could be applied toward tips. If they start treated obc different you will see people here howling against it. Wouldnt happen. All your nonrefundable obc will be treated the same and used first.
  20. Until we see the menu for lunch has changed, it seems like speculation. The name changed so rcl could change the menu .. or not.
  21. I've noticed some specialty restaurants were closed when in port. Only open sea days for lunch. Agree with above, book immediately when you board or times will be gone.
  22. Often you cant get a discount when $650 is less than your discount. Do you know a TA with group rates. Group rates I get my full discount, that's why group rates are such a good deal for many of us. Wish I could share mine, hes good.
  23. Hal is on my list when I move to florida next hear. My friends say they have the best food.
  24. I havent done HAL yet but it's on my list.
