Silversea should terminate the Blacklane partnership . No telling how much business this has cost them . Being "sorry" does not cut it when You're out thousands plus your time . Silversea passengers are affluent people who expect more and who pay more . They won't stand for this shoddy treatment ! Some heads should roll at Blacklane .

I was arriving the day before. Blacklane never notified me at all . I live and hour and 15 minutes away and could not have gotten there on time had someone been standing here to take me . I am in a small town and taxi service opens at 8am and closes at 7pm. American had no available flights that day or the next . I am cancelling my 2 future voyages with SS. They were both long trips . I am putting this behind me and will find other good choices in the future .SS needs a new slogan .. Silversea Door to Door ..Will you take the risk ?

Don't blame you cancelling. I'm out thousands on a trip that was paid door to door. SS says they will credit me $50 for the transfer . I will also cancel thousands of dollars in 2 future cruises. We do have other options !

Thank You ...I am Caregiving / Caretaking my mother and my brother is coming up from Florida while I am gone . He can't change his plans so this was my only time away and planned since July...probably no more SS and definitely no more Door to Door !

Got up at 2:30 to get ready for my trip. I went to my gate at 3:30 for my Blacklane driver and to open the gate . My driver NEVER came and I have missed my flight . I live around 60 miles from the airport and was billed the overage . I cannot get another flight with my carrier today. I have emailed my TA and tried to call SS but they are closed . Looks like this cruise will be cancelled then. I paid for DTD without flights because I fly first and they only offered economy .They are going to have to make this right or I will be cancelling the two others I have booked and NO not using Blacklane EVER. I have been having to undo all my plans and now my paperwork is wrong to travel to Colombia . Tjhis has caused a lot of problems for myself and my family . Not happy with SS.

Boarding the Nova for a short voyage on Tuesday. Hoping the service is good as on past voyages with other SS ships .I can't comment on food . I'm from the South so a good meal is always cooked with fatback or lard ! 😂👍😂😂😂

Oh good ! I also was upgraded to a connecting door cabin on Nova and wondered the same thing . Good to hear ?! Will be on there soon !

How soon does Blacklane contact you when you have a cruise pickup from home to airport to get the details ..time and everything . I am a little over 50 miles from the airport , have a 4am pickup at my home and they will need the gate code to enter my neighborhood . This is my first voyage with SS using Blacklane . ???

I saw this too online . Those passengers who have made their own arrangements have a headache to try and rebook other flights and other arrangements on down the line to get home . It is very inconsiderate and somewhat puzzling that they would do this to their most affluent passenger base. When SS does a great job I let them know and in a situation like this I would also let them know . There are other good choices out there and may value their passengers enough not to schedule something like this . 😞 Disappointed in the SS leadership ...I felt they were better than this .

Yes wondering the same thing but in Oosterdam . Went on Amsterdam 20 years ago and had made great friends from Cruise Critic ..was really great and had a wonderful voyage ! Good memories .

Anyone here used SS hotel for Buenos Aires ? I was wondering which hotel that they have used . I also like to use their hotel and get the transfers overseas when it works for me to do so .

I'm also showing these 2 available and would like to know . If I book this voyage I will have the travel agent ask . They do look larger don't they . Curious

I am flying into Cartagena a day early and will get a check Mig . I board my ship the next day and we depart Cartagena the day after that . Do I need to get a check Mig to leave Cartagena by ship ? I want to make sure I have everything . Thank You !

Looking at one now and am rolling the dice that it will still be available when I am onboard in April . If not I will search for others . Have two booked so far .

I agree with all . I was on the Silver Shadow in Recife Brazil March 2020. We were stranded there due to COVID . Silversea was nothing less than awesome . The captain sent us champagne at least twice . Silversea chartered a plane and flew us to Dallas Texas . Governor Abbott gave us permission to come there . We arrived in Dallas at around 11:00pm and Silversea had a wonderful buffet set up in a big room they leased ..they had it all ..and we then boarded buses to the Hyatt to shower and rest in our rooms for about 5 or 6 hours . We left early morning back to the airport and they had a big buffet breakfast for us . We were then flown home by different lear jets and driven right to our front doors . AND before I left Brazil they moved me to a a Silver Suite and I was very stunned. I told Mark Conroy in Dallas that I had a motto ..." If it ain't Silversea it ain't for me " I got a note from him and also Barbara Muckermann ...Go for it and never look back !! They go above and beyond for their passengers ! 🙂

If I get Club Orange ..can I still request late seating and a large table for 8 or 10 ? I'm sailing solo and enjoy a larger table with other great passengers . I've always had a great time . One of my table mates last time said I drank a glass of wine the slowest she had ever seen 😂. A bottle lasted me more than a week . 😂👍

I am considering another HAL voyage and have not sailed the line in 20 years. Does HAL still do 2 seatings and allow solo travelers to request a table top of 8 people

My TA got a quote for my flight from Southampton.I said good let's do it . The next day I got a message from my TA that the flights increased and the increase was over $2000 which was way more than I could book direct so I said NO .I'm disappointed that Cunard was WAY more .
