  1. Does one need to complete this paperwork if NOT going ashore in Victoria?
  2. Got my piers mixed up. The Eurodam will go out of Smith Cove Pier.
  3. OK I have figured this out. Xiamercado is going to be on the Eurodam which departs from Port Everglades, the pier that we will use. This will be a good back up for us. We will first try to get testing done at one of our local walk-in clinics. If that fails, we will get tested portside. Thanks for the info......
  4. This is the first that I have heard of this. Is it available at both piers? Is there a charge and if so, how much?
  5. I have had chronic rhinitis and multiple sinus infections since childhood thanks to growing up in a smoking household. About 20 years ago I discovered nasal irrigation, thank you Dr. Oz! It has been a miracle in my life, I use it daily. When cruising, I order distilled water in advance so that it is waiting for me in our cabin. I use it twice a day.
  6. "It was a long list, just FYI." I am having a hard time understanding why so many passengers, all vaccinated and some boosted too, could contract COVID in spite of all the ship's precautions! The only thing that I can come up with is the ports. We cruise on the Eurodam July 2nd and Iderochi's experience with the "long list" is making me nervous. We are both vaccinated and twice boosted which are hoping will give us protection.
  7. We are on the July 2nd sailing and today received docs via email. There were no changes to the booking.
  8. Thank you for the map. I researched the time getting from dock CT to various places downtown and am pleased to learn that it is not much of a walk and is very doable for us. For some reason I was thinking that that the Tram was much further from town. Very relieved.
  9. Thank you all for your responses. We will be on the Eurodam at dock CT, which is right at the tram. It sounds like it is not a problem walking to town. There is some information online that it is 1 and1/4 mile from dock CT to downtown but that doesn't sound right to me. (?) It has been some time since we were docked at Juneau. Years ago, we were docked at AJ on Princess, and it was very difficult walking to town, there were no shuttles at that time.
  10. We have been to those ports more than once; this Hawaii cruise will be cruise #49 for us. We wanted to sail on the Sapphire one more time as we love that ship and had to use or lose cruise credits by the end of the year. We were lucky and excited to get a suite and are looking forward to the cruise. It has been way too long since our last cruise! We would really love to be docked at Lahaina, but it looks like that will not happen, so we will make the best of it. The shore excursion will give us 4 hrs. there. We have some concern that this cruise may be affected by the Sapphire canceling several upcoming cruises and are wondering what that is all about. Time will tell.
  11. We do not want to take that risk, we will use Princess transportation.
  12. AF...thank you for the info. Just checked Princess website. We are on the Sapphire for Hawaii in Nov. and are not scheduled for Lahaina like the Royal. That is a big disappointment for us. However, we would prefer the Sapphire over the Royal. There is a shore excursion which is RT bussing from Kahului to Lahaina and that is what we will do.
  13. Have I got something wrong? It is my understanding that Princess is docking at Kahului, not Lahaina for Hawaii cruises.
  14. I would appreciate any firsthand information about shuttle service from Mt Roberts tram to downtown Juneau. I have read that shuttles run every 15 mins and the all-day cost is $3 pp. This would be an asset for my DH and me. We will be on one of the four large ships in town on July 4th. Is there a website to find out if they will have shuttles on the holiday? I have read that busses will not run that day. Thanks for any info or advice.
