I have had open heart surgery to replace an aortic valve. My impression, they are now able to do a more non invasive surgery these days. Yes, it’s not fun but necessary and according to my cardiologist I have a great operating heart. Glad you can go on your cruise. B.

Good morning. I did get my hair cut yesterday and today we both have pedicure’s scheduled for today; then it will be time to begin packing. As soon as I saw the meal suggestion of the day I immediately knew @rafinmd Roy’s answer to that.😁 We will visit Petra next year so it will be nice to finally see in person versus photo and videos. Thanks for today’s photos. It’s a little cooler here this morning as it’s currently 61 degrees but will still climb into low eighties with low humidity. Very nice weather and that should be the case throughout the Memorial Day weekend. Rich thanks for the Fleet Report and today’s features. May all of you enjoy this weekend but take some time to reflect on those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. God Bless them all. Bruce

Morning. Slept until 7:00 AM so behind in posting. That will change next month when in Europe. We are excited because if all goes well we will visit Gibraltar next month. We have skirted around that port on many cruises. Today we received a wire transfer into our accounts as it will soon be time to make final payment on our World Cruise. That’s putting a dent in the Ski Fund aka ( Spending Kids Inheritance) fund!😱 I have held off long enough and today I’m going to get a haircut. Good thing as a few more days and I’ll be looking like an old Super Fab Beetle. MeMe’s may be down next month as we travel and in place pictures but we’ll see how WiFI is operating. There is a port every day on these back to back’s with a couple overnights. Need to get my walk in. So far have lost eight pounds and that is mainly due to no wine or Crown Royal, and exercise. @dfish Debbie hope you’re doing well and that they will let you go home today. Congratulations! Your shouldn’t have ever happened nightmare is finally over.

Use it all the time, mainly for positive comments and in many cases have received call back in cabin thanking us for our comments. They post the comments somewhere where crew can see them and we often get thank you’s for our comments.

Good morning. Currently 67 but will reach 80’s later today with a 60% chance of afternoon rain. Heading to the pharmacy this morning to ask if a couple of prescriptions can be refilled early as I will be close to running out on cruise. @dfishDebbie hope all goes well with your surgery today and too anyone else having medical procedures. Sometime this week I need a haircut and we both need pedicures. Yesterday we picked up our Euros from the bank so we are pretty ready other than finishing packing. Azamara’s dress code does make packing easier. Love escargot and it’s available every night on our next cruise. So that’s about it. Time for coffee #2 and of course finishing reading what all our Daily friends are up too. Thanks Rich and to all have a great Hump Day. Bruce

Good morning! Starting the day off at 70 and the forecasted rains for the morning don’t show on radar. So I’ll get my walk in. There I was this morning in a really deep slumber when all of a sudden I bolted up looked at the alarm clock and said “OMG I’m late for work!” After a second, reality kicked in and I rested for another half hour.😊 I really don’t need pictures of Half Moon as we have been there enough times that its beauty is embedded in my mind. My favorite visit was when our Roll Call united and pooled money and 12 of us rented the Grand Pavilion for the day. It is definitely Turtle Season here. Volunteers are marking off nesting spots on our beaches and we’ve had several turtles coming out of the creeks and ponds behind our home to lay their eggs. Usually doesn’t work well as birds are watching where they are burying their eggs. Some must survive as there are hundreds of turtles on these ponds. Thanks Rich and our feature editor columnist. We have had Sue’s sister cruising with us when she was just starting to cruise. She was always able to embark, disembark and take tender with us. B.
