  1. Good news....I have really missed it.
  2. Yes....unless you select the shared table option in the Hub app when you check-in.
  3. Carnival always hits a home run with lasagna both in the MDR and Cucina. In the MDR I usually remember apps that are done well. The marinated chicken tenders, fried mozzarella and calamari are always a hit for me. For the quick bites I am always happy with the breakfast burritos at Iguana. For lunch anything at Iguana, Big Chicken or Guys will do, we have moved towards those venues in lieu of the Lido.
  4. Yup. They can have their own room since you are on board. If they are by themselves it can be anywhere on the ship, of you put some of the younger children in there with them there will be restrictions on location.
  5. That can't work because when it is time to disembark the bags have not been removed from the ship and organized in baggage claim. Allowing those carrying their luggage to disembark first is what allows time for the rest of the process to work.
  6. Depends on brand for the vodka....low end is $7.50 up to probably $11. The Aperol Spritz was $10.50 or so when my wife ordered one on at the Serenity bar.
  7. Glad you found it....I thought it disappeared after the last update.
  8. There will be a lesson on the fry market coming soon and why the choice Carnival made is either going to save the brand or not impact them personally.
  9. Many who are reaching Platinum and Diamond now started cruising Carnival when they were a much different line.
  10. Why do the gymnastics when a CC handles it without input or risk?
  11. Without question. It is a fallacy in the real world.
  12. If I can't get the first slot at check-in we chose 1pm. That puts us in the ship when the packed common areas have began to clear.
  13. Southern grandma's? If McDonald's can out out a passable biscuit it isn't that hard.
  14. It's the internet....everyone is a big tipper. Surprised some of you can even enjoy the cruise as busy as you are handing out cash.
  15. I can tell you what worked this week on the Elation for Elegant night.....a tank top with a Biggie Smalls caricature and a hat that said 'no f*ucks given'.
  16. I'll worry about gravy when they find something suitable to put it on. Those wheat looking hockey pucks aren't cutting it.
  17. So 4.6 drinks per day to put it into perspective.
  18. It is within the boarding window....nothing crazy about it.
  19. Carnival has no expectations at this point. However, the majority still do chinos and some sort of collared shirt.
  20. It is always a yes for us. There has never been a day, ever, where I did not have at least 6 drinks on a cruise ship. I'm breaking even at that point, sea days where I have more are just freebies.
  21. Its is really hit or miss in our experience. They would nail the meat one time and the sides sucked and next time it would be reversed. I've never had the brisket not be horribly dry and I finally wrote it off.
  22. We have ranged from months in advance to 3 days.
  23. Strange.....I can't remember lox on the Lido of any Carnival cruise I've taken in 10 years. They have other deli meats, not lox.
