    Here’s something I have never understood. it’s well known that devices with surge protection are fire hazards so why, since Celebrity has TWO separate sections in the FAQ regarding “prohibited items” and “what not to bring” why is there no mention of surge suppressors? and why is the fire danger not spelled out clearly on one’s booking confirmation?

    The binoculars are really cheap. Bring your own. lots of blankets up on pool deck. Just take one or two for your balcony.

    Celebrity doesn’t have any restrictions on bringing water aboard or at least none listed on FAQ or website or T&C or cruise contract.

    Some ships give out trinkets and tokens for trivia, others don’t. Infinity did, Summit says they have run out i think they have dropped the “extra charge” items from the MDR menu

    No and no. No hosted event. The Elite perks are only for Elite members

    Price is generally not tied to the amount/quality/variety of entertainment. Look at the ports and the port charges. Look at the length of the cruises. Those are more significant factors.

    You will be invited to the concierge lunch on your two turnaround days. Not on the first cruise.

    I don’t believe there’s any way to specify the roast. as far as I know all the beans on board are roasted to the same medium-roast level. If you go to Café al Bacio you can order an Americano which will be in espresso to which they add some water to make it approximately the strength of brewed coffee.

    If they bring that back, you should know that you do not pay for just the last few days, you would pay for the entire cruise. also there was a fee for downline embarkation and some paperwork involved. But, as noted, the program is not being offered at this time

    45 minutes to an hour to get to FCO CHECK IN and security and getting to the gate 2-3 hours what happens if you miss it? When is the next flight? What will it cost to go standby? what’s your tolerance for stress and risk?

    There is no luggage valet out of Fort Lauderdale at this time. For 2022 so far, the only city offering this service is Seattle.

    In lieu of passport you need BOTH a certified (raised seal) birth certificate AND government issued photo id not a photocopy of the birth certificate, it must be an original.
