  1. It still won’t be all included. Unless they plan on including tips in the spa and salon, which I’m sure they won’t.
  2. That’s for sure. I just got a long email with instructions for how to check in for my cruise from New Jersey to Bermuda. My cruise is not going to Bermuda.
  3. Perhaps what you are quoting is out of date,? Do you know of anyone having problems bring a non-alcoholic beverages on board with them in, say, the last six months?
  4. It’s 1100 plus miles to Aruba one of the farthest Caribbean Islands. I would doubt that they have much in common as far as sea conditions goes.
  5. Or you can skip the photo and have it taken when you board
  6. Actually your plan if have workedActually your plan if the cruise line was allowing downline disembark and embarkation whic they are not at this time. that’s the issue with that solution, not the distant port requirement.
  7. Passport vaccine card credit card Basically the same thing as you need to have when you check in in person at the terminal
  8. It would be Victoria, not Vancouver. It would require disembark in the ship a day early, and making your way from Victorianto The ship and then starting the next cruise. As noted, right now the cruise lines are not allowing disembiaring downline, the fancy term for leaving the ship before the end of the cruise
  9. In this situation, there was no travel agent. Both bookings were made by Celebrity
  10. I hope that your passport shows up quickly, but do not fret about a refund for prepaid dining or shore excursions. That will happen if you are unable to take the cruise.
  11. While that may have been part of the motivation for the introduction of “always included,” I think the greater motivation was to create a bundled package which would appeal to those who want to avoid having to deal with individual purchases, especially when it comes to beverages.
  12. For the most part, itineraries are planned so that there is a stop in a non-EU country, and thus the entire cruise is exempt from charging VAT. There are some specific exceptions but that is the general plan. if you saw increases in the menu price on your cruise it was most likely not due to VAT
  13. Always included does not cover many tips on board. Spa services, babysitting, casino dealers among others. Room service delivery is also not part of “always included”.
  14. Did you book through a travel agent? The first notification should go to him/her.
  15. She can’t change the law. If you start in one US city and end in a different one you MUST visit a DISTANT foreign port. No port in Canada is a distant foreign port.
  16. Separate reservations does not make it legal. If you are on the same ship, that’s the issue.
  17. Where are you coming from? How do the airfare costs and options compare?
  18. They know ahead of time when the reclassification will take place. If your sailing is before that date, you will be booking it as an FV. once they change it to a suite there’s no going back to the previous category.
  19. For most passengers, neither the stateroom category nor Captains Club tiers matter anymore for boarding times. Suite passengers and Zenuths can board as they wish. All others pick their boarding times when they do the cruise check in.
