  1. That’s a US phone number which is probably not easily accessible from the UK
  2. Room service coffee on Celebrity is free. Perhaps you were thinking of some other line.
  3. Because this gets asked so often I've compiled a list of things to spend OBC on. The only thing I know of now that you CAN'T buy with OBC is a deposit on a Future Cruise. You need a credit card for that. Also, there may be some card game in the casino with a cash only buy-in. If they do a fundraiser, like selling t-shirts to “save the reefs” and the like, expect to need cash for that. Otherwise, here you go: *Acupuncture *Airport transfers *Alcove Rental (some ships) *Apple products etc. and Ilounge classes *Art Auction Purchases *Babysitting *Barber Shop services *Behind the Scenes Tours *Beverages -- Alcoholic, carbonated soft drinks, specialty coffees and teas, bottled water — if not in your package, also beverages above your package limits *Bingo and Deal or No Deal *Bottles of wine *Casino *Chef’s Table *Corkage charged if you bring your own bottles of wine to the MDR *Duty free liquor and cigarettes *Extra cost entrees and other items in Main Dining Room and specialty restaurants *Extend Your Stay program *Fitness classes *Flowers *Gelato *Gift shop souvenirs, purses, watches, cosmetics, clothing, jewelry, etc. *Gratuities, and extra gratuities *Guests dining with you in Luminae (applies to Suite Passengers only) *Guest entertainers' CD's and DVD's *Hair and nail salon *Hollywood hot glass experiences (some ships) *Internet if not in your package, also Internet upcharges *Laundry/pressing/drycleaning *Liquor Tasting events *Luggage Valet *Martini Flights *Medical Center purchases (but not treatments) *Mini bar *Portrait photo sessions *Pay-per-view movies *Persian Gardens passes *Personal Training Sessions *Photos & cameras *Room service up charge items, and late night delivery fee *Ryde spinning classes *Shore Excursions *Shuttle to town (some ports) *Spa -- massages and treatments *Specialty restaurants *Teeth Whitening *Telephone calls using ship's system *Transfer to another passenger's account *Voyage in Review DVD *Wine and liquor tastings *Zumba
  4. But that might be the most reliable way in the long run. Their advertising and marketing can’t be relied on. They frequently publish misleading and even erroneous information To see what I mean there’s currently a thread on confusing pictures that are distributed by Celebrity showing features of one ship that are actually on a different ship
  5. There are no AQUA cabins that allow triple occupancy. Many veranda cabins are available for triple occupancy, but it also depends on how many other people are on the ship because even though a room is capable of holding three, they might not let you book it for three depending on how full the assigned lifeboats are. You can pick a veranda on a cruise that you are interested in and do a mock booking to see if three will be allowed for that sailing.
  6. What is very odd on the FAQ is that the very next one where prohibited items are listed, it’s back to the original wording of two bottles per state room not two bottles per person. port side and starboard side hands continue to fail to monitor each other 🤪
  7. Actually I don’t think that it is considered soda. It’s not offered in the non-alcohol packages for one thing. It contains some residual alcohol for another. I don’t believe it’s supposed to be brought on board, although depending on who is doing the screening you might get away with it
  8. I have asked for Vitamin Water in the buffet and had it charged to Mast Bar because that’s where the server had to go to get it.
  9. Some celebrate, others bemoan the loss of the Colony 😀
  10. I don’t agree that Celebrity do not care. But with supply chain issues they can’t get the wines they order. The same happens at my local store. No one wants unhappy customers but sometimes they have no choice and the substitutes aren’t as desirable as they could be.
  11. They load your drinks onto your card and they do count the drinks ordered in the Diamond lounge against your allotment. Go or more info, check out the Royal board
  12. They often make pretty big messes in their stateroom…..ground up Cheerios in the carpet, that kind of thing
  13. Remember that it could be chilly in the dining room and it might be cold out on deck. Jackets and sweaters would not be amiss to be prepared for anything.
  14. That’s correct. There is no mechanism to upload the test result. You can upload photos of your proof of vaccination card, but not the test results. You need to bring those with you to show at check-in, along with your vaccination card
  15. I don’t understand why there should be a debate. High tea meant that it was served on a high table, as a supper would be. Low tea was served in the afternoon on a low table and consisted of scones, small tea sandwiches, cookies and other bite-size treats.
  16. Packages are not always available on holiday sailings
  17. Update: Infinity has now been added to the list of ships on the app
  18. You can always show up after your chosen time but they don’t want you coming before your time slot so 12:30 pm would probably work as you are unlikely to be there before that.
  19. I had planned to check in tomorrow on my tablet but looked at the app on the off chance that infinity had been added, and it has been. 😀
  20. You will be able to request a time when you fill out your disembarkation information form. Usually anytime between 7:30 and 9 or 9:30. If you have any questions, guest relations can explain the procedure to you once you are on board
  21. As I recall, when select dining was introduced, servers were reluctant to be posted to that option because they were worried that if they did not have the same people at their table every night with whom they could establish a relationship that they would not receive gratuities. So the cruise line imposed required gratuities for those who chose select dining, this assuring the servers that they would be tipped. With the advent of the “always included” most passengers’ gratuities were folded into their cruise fare, although there were always a few exceptions, some who booked under “simply sail” or travel agents’ rates, or casino rates, or who had lifted and shifted earlier bookings that didn’t include gratuities. Now that “Cruise only” rates might be becoming more common, the percentage of passengers who do not have their gratuities prepaid, like the OP, might be growing. it is reasonable to expect, then, that Select Dining will once again require pre-paid gratuities, wrk2cruise’s experience notwithstanding, since the original booking with the included gratuities and Select Dining was altered but it is likely that the booking system overlooked the change.
  22. When select dining was introduced, prepaid gratuities were required to choose that option. I am not aware that this has changed.
  23. Here is one of the port hole, in the hull, balconies. They have sliding glass doors leading to the veranda, as she would find on other ships. They have blackout curtains and sliding glass doors leading to the veranda, as you would find on other ships.
