  1. Are you trying on the app or on the website?
  2. The Buffet afternoon tea options are no more. your best bet will be café al Bacio where you can get sweets, but not savories
  3. It is on the wine list they give you in the dining room. I’ll try to get a photo of that for you.
  4. If you wish to dine in the main dining room, coordinate that with the maître d’ of blue, don’t just show up. They will need to find a table for you since you do not have a dining room assignment there. I need to get one gelato per cruise, not one per day they do stock the minibar, but it is not included in any beverage package, so anything you take from it you will be charged for
  5. The shops are run by a concessionaire, not by the cruise line. So they are completely different entities.
  6. Correction! The themed dinners in the Ocean view café are listed in the program, just not in the daily activities, but on the backside of that sheet where they have the opening hours of each venue, it does say what the theme is for the night.
  7. Tonight, the off menu special was some sort of duck, not recommended by our waiter so none of us tried it. I ended up with tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich off the children’s menu. Then I went to the ocean view because it is Greek night, and I had some very delicious baklava there.
  8. It does not show in the cruise planner— I have had to ask every day at lunch what the nightly theme will be. And then that night at the entrance to the OVC is a sign showing the theme.
  9. So far warm and dry with calm seas. The TA is anybody’s guess. BTW I put this on the roll call but will add it here, a plea to stick a book or two for the library in your suitcase if you have room. Yes I know about kindles etc but some of us like real books and if you have one or two lying around you would otherwise donate to your local charity shop, please consider bringing them to leave on board. TIA
  10. It’s just a matter of timing. You might wait a long time to meet your stateroom attendant. And who knows how long that might be. Or you can go to Guest Relations at a time you choose. Either will work. Just don’t wait until the second day of the cruise.
  11. They do seem to be offering off-menu choices each night. Tonight was fish and chips. The menu choices were very unappealing to me, so I ended up with a bowl of the chicken soup for my dinner. out of curiosity, and for research, I just went up to the Buffet. It is French night. I spoke to friends who ate there, and they declared it all delicious. I have to say that the menu, and the choices in the Buffet are far exceeding what is available in the main dining room so far.
  12. People are always asking for samples of drink prices. Menu is from Passport bar on Reflection
  13. If you opt in online, pre-cruise, be sure to confirm with the guest relations desk that your name is on the list. Even though there are sometime long lines, go there on boarding day because you cannot sign up for the green after that. what suits me is to have one service in the evening, nothing in the morning. That is what works best for my schedule. you get extra Captains Club points of one day’s worth per cruise of whatever your stateroom category is, no matter the length of cruise. So an inside state room gives you a total of two extra points for the whole cruise. That’s not a lot of incentive, but maybe if you are close to a new tier level, it would be enough.
  14. I suspect it wasn’t the Master of the ship, but the chief of the dining room who many people in land-based restaurants call Captain
  15. No it’s not recent. It is the standard procedure.
  16. I agree that November 14 is the likely date, but it would be nice if they added the points on October 14.
  17. No problem…sometimes it’s hard to follow threads ….
