Just to clarify, these are not part of the Elite breakfast

While it is the same food, the ambience is certainly different. The Buffet is often very busy, the elite breakfast is calm.

Correction to my earlier post. There are two Captains Club parties and there are two formal nights back to back, but they are not the same. One Captains Club party is on a formal night, one is not. so there goes that idea

It’s something not listed on the printed menu or the app. You can’t find out about it ahead of time. The waiter just tells you if it’s being offered that night.

Tonight’s off menu special is a crab encrusted redfish. Very delicious. our waiter said it was the first time it’s been offered.

I think this was a result of having to try to schedule so many Captains Club members for the Captains Club celebration party that they had to split it into two parties. They wanted them to be on a chic night but because there are going to be two parties that meant two chic nights . At least that’s how I understand it.

Oh, I don’t know if they are still giving the cookbooks away but I know that there are five or six in the library so they must have been left behind

So the day before yesterday I was up in the library, where they have set up a table to put out jigsaw puzzles. Dave, the activity manager, passed by and we were chatting and someone came by and asked him a question about books in the library. I chimed in that there were, at that moment, five books in English in the whole library. He said he was working on getting more, and I was skeptical, but lo and behold, this morning nearly 100 new books in English had appeared overnight.📚📚📚📚📚📕📗📘📙📖

Winners last night hake Children’s spaghetti Children’s mac & cheese so-so Children’s pizza it was funny that one of the maitre D’s came by our table and said “I didn’t know there was spaghetti on the menu tonight”, and we explained that we prefer the spaghetti to the offerings on the menu. He was a bit taken aback.😀

Well the bird seed is not on the “do not bring” list so would not require smuggling on embarkation but after that seeds are not allowed to be brought on board
