  1. You are confused. There is no Coastal Kitchen on any Celebriy ship
  2. No it does not mean that you will only have the buffet or specialties. One or more of the Main Dining rooms is set aside for the anytime dining option.
  3. I will relay an anecdote about coffee. I was at a luncheon where coffee was served. The first person said it was too strong, the second person said it was too weak. The third person said it was too hot, the fourth person said it was too cold. So how is the coffee served in the restaurants on board? It is too strong, too weak, too hot, and too cold.
  4. Gangway photographs seem to be gone, but roving photographer still attend, different events and venues, just not so many as there once were.
  5. Elite breakfast buffet on Reflection pastries, salmon and cream cheese etc meat and cheese, fruit, yogurt
  6. A little further update. I filled out my form to give extra tip to the waiter, assistant, waiter, and room steward, and I took it to guest relations. I was just going to drop it off, but the man there said, wait I need to show you each person’s picture to make sure we have the right employee, because sometimes two waiters have the same name. So he looked up their employee numbers and showed me their pictures to confirm that I had the right person.
  7. “Required” is a pipe dream. You can happily cruise without it.
  8. Yes, and if you don’t wait until the very end of the cruise, you will be able to get confirmation that they received it before you leave the ship
  9. Look again…..There’s meat, salmon, cheese, yogurt. Just no cooked food like eggs or omelettes
  10. No coffee card or soda card so just pay-as-you-go
  11. Happy hour menu doesn’t list them so probably not
  12. 73° and 13 foot seas but I don’t see how that can help you at all because there’s no way of knowing if you will be on an itinerary anywhere near our itinerary.
  13. That’s a lot of specialty dining and shore excursions. Overnight in La Spezia is a real draw. Book the Equinox.
  14. On S class ships Tuscan and Blue are adjacent so that request is easy. on M class and e class they are far away so it would be extremely difficult to go there to get your juice.
  15. Good question, I don’t know the answer, I have only been told that the buffets were designed to be buffets and restaurants where the breakfasts are held were not. I do recall that several years ago the Buffet style was the norm in Tuscan. The serving area in the center of the restaurant was used. But it had to be discontinued because that area was carpeted and buffets are not allowed on a carpeted surface. The entryway location they currently use is not a carpeted surface there are lots of little details like that which USPH requires that we don’t know anything about.
  16. US public health laws seem to come into play in different ways when the ship sails in and out of US ports
  17. Seas have been tolerable although the ship’s motion plays havoc with the water in the pools. Cooler today and tomorrow than it was before that in the Med. who knows what you will experience several days from now.
  18. The general rule is that the Buffet style is not allowed when sailing on closed loop cruises out of the US. From other locations, the menu style prevails as long as there are fewer than some critical number of elites. When the number of Elites is greater than that threshold, they change to the Buffet style.
  19. I see both my MDR waiter and assistant waiter periodically in other venues. They are both excellent.
