  1. Not talk, happening. Guess they will have to add casino staff/technicians, bar staff and a cashier. I know the area wasn’t particularly revenue producing, but putting in a small separate casino, fairly far from the regular casino doesn’t seem to make much sense to me. Have we heard if it will be table games or slots? m
  2. Likely won’t be ready in the morning, but the cabin attendant can leave it outside your cabin in the evening. m
  3. Once on board, guest services can remove the gratuities to all the ship staff and crew. m
  4. In the old days, Pinnacle members would be getting twice a day cleaning, same as suites. And I can see someone from corporate reading your comment and having an “ah ha” moment and adding it to the benefit list. m
  5. We are early risers and are in and out of the cabin all day. We’ll prefer morning service to enjoy a clean cabin all day. m
  6. Thanks, I couldn't recall the specifics. Whatever, we gladly paid it to be able to visit. M
  7. Bermuda Govt did not test me upon arrival in May 2022. So, I don't see how the $40pp we were required to pay was for testing. $80 is just a drop in the bucket for a cruise, so we didn't bat an eye. It was just part of the cost of travel, like airfare, pre/post hotels and meals, parking etc. I recall meeting some cruisers that refused to sail to Bermuda because of the now removed Authorization fee. We were happy to finally get to Bermuda after 4 tries. We were on the ill-fated Grandeur cruise (8/2019) that when it left the pier, immediately returned with some sort of mechanical problem. Cruise ended several hours later, and we all had to get off the ship the same day we boarded. (not an easy task for those of us who had to fly to port). Then, of course, 2 tries during Covid that were cancelled. Finally a trip in May 2022. M
  8. Perhaps the reason for the reduced service is because RCCL can't get staff to clean all the cabins twice a day. M
  9. It is my understanding that the cabin attendant gets about $3–4 pp/day. a day, just a small portion of the daily gratuity charge. If you are inclined to remove half of the attendants tip it would be about $2/ day. I don’t have the exact breakdown, but I know it’s been posted on this site. m
  10. Really shouldn’t put clothes out on the balcony. Years ago we found that the shirt we had left out had a burnt hole in it, When we looked on the balcony floor we saw cigarette butt. Could’ve been a disaster. m
  11. NO SERVICE FOR 11 DAYS? You used the same towel for 11 days? You have not had any trash emptied for 11 days? You have not had your carpet vacuumed for 11 days? You have not had your sheets changed after 11 days? You have not had your bathroom cleaned after 11 days? m
  12. It had nothing to do with testing. There was sone explanation on the govt form but I honestly don’t recall what it said m
  13. The fee ended in mid November,2022. When we went this past summer the actual fee was not the issue as much as many folks had problems completing the documents on the Bermuda govt website. m
  14. Tne compass can be delivered by anyone and simply left outside on the door m
  15. Unless you are on a suite, you (and every other passenger not in a suite) will have once-a-day service. Not sure what guest can do. m
  16. Yes, it is true. That is the current practice on several ship and more implementing that practice soon. I understand Wonder will start once a day service tomorrow ( Feb 19).
  17. Look at it this way - you saved $200 and can have any of the thousands of complimentary chairs/umbrellas on chill beach. M
  18. You can turn it in any day ( well, not the last day) . Ask the cabin attendant for the Wash and Form. It is not the laundry form attached to the laundry bag in the closet. m
  19. Never heard a terminal agent yell at a passenger, the other way around, sadly yes. M
  20. We had three in a junior suite and used the closet as a changing room (that was mentioned above) and that worked well. No real privacy. m
  21. Barefoot Beach usually has an upgraded buffet, but it has declined over the years. Now we have cold shrimp, shrimp salad, grilled vegs, watermelon salad, in addition to all regular buffet items. Sometimes it can be different depending on the ship, as that is where the food is from. You can take a walk over, sign in to Barefoot Beach and take a look. Hard for me to make an exact comparison as I've had access to Barefoot for the past 5 or so years. M
  22. Last month in Jewel Solarium Cafe I was told, "we have no chips". I simply said, " thank you" and moved on. Don't know if RCCL stopped providing small bags of chips, the chips they had on hand were bad, there was a supply issue, the chips are in inventory and not yet delivered to the venue. m
  23. Thanks, but September is too far away for accurate information today. m
  24. With all due respect, what happened on a cruise ship “a few months ago” might as well be light years. changes, changes, changes. m
