Yes NCL has shuttle service to airport. You can chack with guest services onboard the ship. There will be taxi’s lined up at port so you can take a cab too. It is about 20 minutes from port to airport.
You can arrange for taxi to train station at front desk of hotel.

Always remember this about Amtrak-schedules are a suggestion & not a goal (partly due to sharing tracks with commercial freight). So if you do use Amtrak, give yourself a good 6-8 hours arrival time before your scheduled embarkment .
One positive aspect of Amtrak over flying is lots of legroom & was surprisingly quiet.
I think the OP is spending three days in Memphis and New Orleans; so they can be late getting into New Orleans
-
So let me ask you. Are you flying into Memphis for three days, then taking Amtrak to New Orleans and spending three days there; then getting on the ship?
1. Memphis has Graceland(Elvis' Home)
2. Beale Street downtown Memphis. Lots of jazz clubs and pups.
3. Rendevous BBQ. It is in an alley behind the Holiday Inn downtown. Ask anyone and they can direct you to it; World famous
4. Waterfront tour. I think one of the paddlewheel steamboats does lunch and dinner cruises on the river
5. Sun Records, This is where Elvis recorded and a lot of other early jazz and rock and roll artists
1. New Orleans you have Bourbon Street
2. Emeril Lagasse Resturant
3. Cafe Du Monde-world famous new orleans donuts and coffee. Their version of a donut is called Beignets(pronouned benyea

was hoping to do all of mine online as well. The website says as you are going through the renewal that re-interviews are random. It could be something minimal...my home address and place of employment changed in that 5 year time frame. I also visited some countries that may be scrutinized more closely now...Turkey. That being said, I'm 4 weeks into the online renewal still sitting waiting to see when my application will be approved to set up an interview.
Wow I travel inter'l every month. I've been to a lot of third world countries, and Israel which is security plus. Anyway, sorry you have to go for another interview. I got mine renewed in a few weeks. All online with no issue; so I am good for another five years. Oct 2023

Check each cruise lines home page. Any discounts or specials will be listed there

You should look at choosing end of October. Hurricane season runs until end of October first week of Nov. So you should be good going that time. I just returned from Roatan, Belize, Cayman, and Cozumel on Caribbean Princess. Weather was great; the weather in that part of the caribbean should be fine mid to end of Oct. The port stops were great

On a similar note...Global Entry applications seem to be greatly delayed. CBP has a big red banner on their site saying there are big delays due to the partial gov't shutdown. I am only trying to renew and it's been 4 weeks with no interview set up...interviews are random on renewals and I got picked so I have to wait until I get approved to set up an interview time/day.
If you need to get/renew this for an upcoming trip I would get this process going.
I have global entry and just renewed it last fall. I did everything online; I don't know why you would have to go for an interview if you are just renewing your current one

The only thing you were missing out on today was being confused by me. So I say hit Control, Alt, Delete; that will reboot me and it we should be good to go

Hmm. Did not notice anything different from first day to the last. But it does have a battery so that may have been an issue you experienced.

OH yea I get what you're saying. Confusing. I am going on what happened to me; sorry for any confusion; which I believe I have caused a lot of today. We were in a suite for both Alaska and Caribbean cruise; so we get water everyday; plus the minibar set up which we swapped out. I am sorry for the OP has to be confused.
-
Oh that explains how you ended up with so many videos. Thanks
-
I think you have misundersood what I was saying above. You can swap out mini bar for two coffee cards, which we did on Alaska cruise; or you can swap out mini bar for sodas or sparkling water; which we did two weeks ago on Caribbean Princess
-
here is a youtube link to this cabin.
-
so did you have all these staterooms for a group cruise or you randomly shot these?
-
Hi when you board Caribbean Princess; call the dine line from your stateroom and set up a time. There is a button on your stateroom phone that goes directly to the dine line.
Fresh and Flexible, Dine Any Time
Just like a restaurant at home, Anytime Dining enables guests the freedom to dine when and with whom they wish, at any time between 5:30 PM and 10 PM. Reservations are available through an onboard dining hotline, but not required, and diners may choose to eat only with their own group, or be seated with other guests. The choice is yours.
-
There is a dollar amount associated with the minibar setup.(do not know what that comes to) So when you swap out roomservice(who is responsible for your minibar), will offer you two coffee cards plus if you want the remaining in bottled water; they will figure that out. I just sailed Caribbean Princess two weeks ago. We swapped out our mini bar for soda and waters. Our minibar had six cokes, six diet cokes, six waters, and six perriers.

I think that within two years people will be saying how happy they are with the Ocean Medallion Program. I know I loved using it on Caribbean Princess two weeks ago and can't wait to use it again
-
If you log into your account on Princess website and open your cruise personalizer it should list your dining option; anytime or traditional with an assigned time. Are you saying you want to book a certain time each night; or do you just want to show up and eat when you want?
-
I was on Caribbean Princess two weeks ago. There will be a large bin at the gangway with towels. You take them from bin on your way off the ship. When you return you put your dirty towels in the bin. They do this for all the ports in the Caribbean. No issues; if you want you can stop by the pool and pick up towels there and put them in your bag; but you really don't need to; they will be supplied at the gangway

30 days with paying for rush service is not too bad. I sent mine in for renewal on Monday 25 Feb. I sent it from Cincinnati to Philadelphia. It was delivered yesterday 1 Mar. I will get back to you when I receive my renewal at my house.
-
I tipped $5.00 last week at the port. Two bags to be put on the ship

Yup Medallion Class is the only way to go.
Flight to Which NY airport for cruise
in East Coast Departures

LGA is quickest airport to get to cruise port. You will have to pay more for ride from JFK or EWR. Newark airport means you have to go thru the tunnel which will cost extra and one tunnel is under construction
