One good news is all these deals Carnival has been sending me for Venezia. I now have 17 days booked over the next year for around $2000.

So now I am allowed to spend $90 on a bottle of cheap Bacardi again? Woot!

My last cruise was in a balcony and it smelled of Marijuana 80% of the time.

Yes and reduced hours for ice cream.

I'm way late to this discussion, but with these Costa ships coming in... they aren't all focused on big ships lately.

I was on Legend in April and the wi-fi was so bad they warned us beforehand. I ended up getting the full week for free.

On my cruise in April we tried unsuccessfully to order half of certain main dishes, but they always came out with the full size.

I must only take good cruises because lately its mostly blue hair.

On my last cruise the wi-fi didn't work at all, BUT the Hub app worked flawlessly.

I love the Guys and Blue Iguana... but I almost hope they have something special for this Italian themed ship. Just having all the same things would greatly reduce the Italian theme IMO

Just heard about this today after getting email from Carnival. The ship looks gorgeous. Booked immediately on a 10 day cruise in 2024 for < 350 a person lol.

Lots of pumping up the newest and greatest here. That's all fine and good, but lets be truthul that many people like the more understated cruise ships like Glory. It's smaller, less crowded, and provides more than enough for you to do on a 7 day cruise. Depends on what you are looking for. Personally I enjoy the smaller ships due to me being 48 and wanting to relax on my trip.

On this topic I was recently on Carnival, and the alcohol costs were not very good. I could find similar prices back at home.

I love Cozumel, but since we leave from Baltimore... the ship might need to get a warp engine installed first lol

If they try to give me a lunchtime schedule, I will be asking for my money to be returned.

Carnival would open itself up to many US legal issues if they tried that.

I feel exactly the opposite way. Drunks are easily avoided. The smell isn't.

Will be interesting that's for sure. Our itinerary is Half Moon Kay on Tuesday, Grand Turk on Wednesday, and Amber Cover on Thursday. Seems like something will have to change.

I am on a cruise starting Saturday whose itinerary falls right into the oncoming Tropical Storm Fiona's track. What does Carnival generally do in cases like this? I would assume they would sail away from the track and change port itinerary? They wouldn't sail INTO the storm track and just tell people to stay in their rooms as the boat lists from side to side 🙂 Anyway just looking for some insight from those that have been in this situation preivously.

I really enjoy afternoon free room service, and have on every cruise. This will be SORELY missed. I, for one, will just have to go find the deli (assuming its open) to replace it.

I'll be doing my first Chef's table next cruise (<10 days) so I am excited. However I don't drink wine, so hopefully it won't feel like a ripoff to me afterwards.

They stopped making any money off me when they got rid of Coke. I wont purchase another soda from Carnival until this evil is rectified.

The movie is interesting to have as an option, but I have honestly never sat down and watched one of them.

They really should change this. Every cruise I would get it. They have lost money on me every cruise by not allowing this.

If you have T-Mobile typically the ports should be covered under your normal plan I believe.
