    The picture above looks tender but I can see how it would be easily overcooked as the meat looks lean. I agree every nation/culture has things they eat, or don't ,for all kinds of reasons; that being said if/when I get down to Australia I am going to give Kangaroo a try. I'll pass on the escargot. 😉

    Glad you made it safely on the ship .... I wouldn't have left my bags at that "dodgy truck" either ! 😜 Looking forward to reading more about your cruise.

    If you have not yet made final payment you can cancel the flights with Celebrity and book whatever flights you like. If you have made final payment I would still try to get Celebrity to change the flight to one that arrives a day early even on a different airline. It can't hurt to ask.

I had a good laugh about sisters: I too have learned it's best NOT to share a room with my sister! 😉 I did my first solo trip last summer and I agree with much of what you said, especially about the freedom of designing your day, and cruising being a good way to go solo. Thanks for sharing.

    Could you comment a bit on your experience as a solo traveler (unless ofc you are saving that for a "summary post"). It seems you are having a lovely time, but are there any lessons learned? Favorite moments as a solo? Anything you'd like to share will be greatly appreciated.

    I was going to suggest NOT eating a full lunch before going to the afternoon class (as I foolishly did) as you get to eat what you make. However, @spinnaker2 recommendation is far more essential and entertaining 😜

    Thanks for this; most especially the information on Orion. It's the only thing I can ever find in the sky; knowing it will be upside will save me a lot of heartache 😜 Also thanks for the info on apps. I am saving all this now for the day when I actually make it to the southern hemisphere.
