  1. You are correct (I think?). Forgive my American bias 😁😁😁
  2. Email : rcldining@rccl.com about 2 weeks before your cruise FYI if you put MDR In quotations, “MDR” it will only look for those letters together.
  3. Only parking. My point was staying at a value resort does not cost anywhere near $800 per night. At $620 per night, even adding tax and parking, Disney’s top property can be had for less than $800 per night.
  4. EDocs show up about 30 days out. I get them on the website. Luggage tags will be one of the last pages. Yes, luggage tag day excites me too!
  5. Heck, with the current discount, I can get the Grand Floridian for under $800 🤷‍♀️
  6. I can get a room at Pop Century for under $250 a night. Where are you getting $800???
  7. My daughter and I did a week at WDW every year from 2007 to 2015. Never stayed higher than a moderate, usually Pop Century, always during the Free Dining promotion (and that was at least twice the cost benefit of the room discount I gave up for it), 7 day park hopper passes. With airfare, I don’t think we ever spent over $1500 total for that week. People throw out high end numbers that are not even remotely close to what a vacation might cost.
  8. My deepest sympathy on your husband’s passing.
  9. You must compare not 2 adults versus 2 adults plus 2 kids but 4 adults versus 2 adults and 2 kids. Different cabin categories. A cabin that accommodates 2 passengers costs less than one that holds 4 regardless of the ages of the 4 passengers. Do mock bookings for the exact same cabin number and you’ll see the savings.
  10. But you aren’t referring to any of that. You referred to the people on this thread and you don’t know. I am certainly not rich, merely very careful with my money. I’m sure there are many more here in my tax bracket.
  11. I believe Diamond would board AFTER suites, pinnacles, Key and Diamond+.
  12. So great to see you sailing & on the boards again! Are you just going from ship to ship to ship now?
  13. Why is that choice any better or worse than any other? I love spending/giving money to my kids. One needs the help, one doesn’t. I don’t care because it’s what makes me happy. I don’t care how old they are, they’re still my kids. Hubby & I aren’t living under a bridge because of it. Would we have more money? Yes. Do I care? No.
  14. I hope they don’t go back to full traditional. Tried it on our very first cruise and only ate there one night. We have used MTD for our last 4 cruises with no problems, none. Clearly I am an outlier but that has been my experience. I don’t care for dinner at 5 or at 8. MTD gives me my sweet spot of 6:30-7.
  15. Yup I skip the Broadway shows on board. In fact, except for the comedy shows, I skip most of the headliners shows. On Harmony last year they had a “men of grease” performance and although they had good voices, their material was awful. Not one song suited the vocal range of its performer.
  16. Probably not, we live very close to NYC and I’m afraid I am something of a theater snob. And my tastes run to less mass appeal shows. Don’t think my favorites would fit the bill. Spamalot, Aida, Rent, Pippin would be terrific!
  17. OMG 3 hours of ABBA?!?! Shoot me first.
