  1. You need to reserve the pop up. There is usually a list in your cabin of,which one is which night.
  2. Two thoughts. Firstly, aren’t airlines that lose luggage supposed to reimburse for essentials? A visit to M and S would supply those at a reasonable price. Secondly the ship might help and be able to supply something suitable perhaps.
  3. One thing is that my impression was that there were quite a lot of big tables in the footage. I doubt there will be so many with real passengers, the majority of whom want twos. I might be mistaken, and I’m not sure what the effect of that will be.
  4. One of the best things about the Grills is having the same waiting staff, who are usually kind, lovely, competent, and know your preferences as well as you do. It is surprising how much of a benefit it is.
  5. It would be difficult to think of anything more calculated to annoy the bulk of the passengers than fitting a shower curtain in the grades below club. 😀 Perhaps issuing them with oars, but even then I’m not sure.
  6. But the layout is the same. A coffee machine is neither here nor there, except its absence creates a little more space to put things down.
  7. Well, aren’t the Britannia Club the same as other balcony cabins?
  8. I should have thought the other way round, particularly with WC Diamonds who may get freebies every sector.
  9. I did notice she said you could have lunch on the Grills Terrace. If that works, it will make up for the demise of the courtyard.
  10. I would do a pop up rather than the Verandah. There is a fair degree of overlap with the Grills Menus, and I find the Verandah rather unwelcoming and intimidating whereas the pop ups have always seemed fun.
  11. I don’t think it is too bad, except, and it’s rather a big except, no space for chairs. It really is only for walking.
  12. If the Vistas are anything to go by, the casino will be pretty empty on her European cruises. Is the space easily convertible to single cabins, I wonder?
  13. I am not sure it is particularly tailored to the younger. Certainly, there are lots of things I have no interest in, like the wellness stuff, and the extra charge restaurants, but I know of lots of people of my age and older are interested. Anyway, the other ships are full of stuff I have no interest in like the casino and the spa, and so on. However, there are clearly lots of nice places indoors with good views of the sea and a very promising library. That seems to cover most of my occupations. But it is a worry nothing has been so much as mentioned about a Prom Deck.
  14. I am pretty certain I saw another wider full length wardrobe. Anyway, it seemed more than enough space for three weeks worth for us, and I always keep to the dress code, which nowhere says you must wear something different every night.
  15. Surely the showers won’t be worse than the ones we have seen in the balcony cabin reviews - and they look great.
  16. I didn’t think PG cabins on QA had baths.
  17. I have done the Indian and Italian, and they are both very nice, with huge helpings. But we made use of our World Club perk. I’m not sure I’d pay for them if I was in the Grills.
  18. The Grills Lounge is much better than I had expected, but a disappointment in comparison with the wonderful ones in the Vistas.
  19. Lovely bathroom. In fact, I think it is all lovely…except the black wood, but that might look better on a sunny day.
  20. No, look at picture carefully, and it has glass walls into the restaurants.
  21. I do think nearly everything looks lovely. And the fact that the QG Lounge has windows rather than walls is most encouraging. Natural light will make all the difference.
