We had to cancel this cruise because Covid struck……our TA submitted our positive test and my credit card had the refund from RCCL yesterday! We did have vacation protection plan and everything else was refunded. Also had Allianz for flights and hotel, maybe they will be as quick. I appreciate the quick response from Royal. I am enjoying this review also, thank you! (Originally from the Finger Lakes area-now northern CA)

Yes, TA connected with RCCL for refund and we had insurance for flights and hotels.

Yes, RCCL is giving a refund (per TA) and we had insurance which will covers flights and hotels……still following along wishing we were there…..

My financial advisor and I were talking at my annual check up and knows we like to cruise. It was his suggestion to buy the 100 shares through my retirement account, which we did. Once that paper work came to me I submitted it and within days got an email telling me my $100 OBC was in my account for our cruise later this month

It’s Ovation and I’m thinking BOGO benefit for Diamond +. When we were on Ovation for Alaska in May, waited in line at reservations and then told they were not honoring this benefit at this time…..just trying to avoid standing in a long line again.

When we first get on ship, is there anyone in the lounge immediately to help with reservations or are they there just during certain hours?

When we were on Ovation in May, they weren’t honoring BOGO for Diamond+ at all! Hope it will be offered next month when we go to Hawaii on Ovation.

Yes, accessible cabins go quickly, but we asked our TA for a balcony at the end of this season going to Hawaii. Nothing was available, but a few weeks later (June of this year) she got us one!

Just booked a HOHO day pass for all lines for when we end our cruise there in October.

Diamond plus used to have BOGO in a specialty restaurant day 1 or 2…..on Ovation last month they said no ,because of staffing……anyone know if that benefit is still a round?
