Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. No boyfriend here, child health is important, and I consider myself a fairly good techie. Not sure about the quote. Maybe on the meal, pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to Shimizu. Important days in history for Germany and NZ. It's sunny and 83F here now. Down to the 40's on Saturday! Whew, a long day for me. I had a medical appointment this morning that went long. Then I was to get lab work, but I poked my head in the lab and there were about 12 people waiting. I had to get to PT, so I didn't do that. So tomorrow when I go to pick up my new glasses I'll try to get the blood work done. There's a case of West Nile Virus in the county; I thought mosquitos were done for the season, but the news says they can be around in early fall. @kazu Safe travels today. @StLouisCruisers Good news that DD can now get through to you on the phone. @rafinmd I'm glad you finally got to see a nice sunrise. @57redbird Were those epidural injections? That's what the Physiatrist recommended for me. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily @richwmn. Custodians are often underappreciated. I've never named any of my cars. Farm animals are important. I like the quote. I like mac and cheese, although I rarely eat it these days. Pass on the drink, but I'll take the wine. I've been to Australia, but not Brisbane. An important day in history. It's 78F and sunny out, going up to 81. I'm just back from seeing the Physiatrist. She thinks the pain is a radiculitis, coming from a nerve being affected by all the degenerative changes in my spine. She has referred me to pain medicine, for possible lumbar spine injection with steroid 😧. I'll have to get an appointment for them to assess me. And she wants more core strengthening at PT. Now that I'm home, I really need to mow the lawn, as I didn't feel up to it yesterday. I notice the trees are really starting to turn now, and of course leaving lots of leaves in my yard! @lindaler Bon Voyage! @StLouisCruisers Wonderful photos from Brisbane! But a cold front is coming and next weekend's highs may not make it out of the 50's! Another poor night of sleep for me. In archaic PA, the state runs the liquor stores (hence they're call "state stores") where wine and hard liquor are sold. Beer is sold through beer distributors and not alongside wine/liquor. Interestingly, the pupils have what's called a consensual response; the change in pupil size in the eye opposite to the eye in which the light is shined. When I have a flare in my eye and it's light sensitive, even if I patch it, light going into the other eye causes pain, as the affected eye's pupil constricts. @smitty34877 I'm glad you were relatively unscathed by all the rain and flooding. I hope the prospective aide works out. Today will be sunny and it's warming up. 71F now, with a high of 77. The next week will be nice and warm, but not hot. I'm trying to work up the enthusiasm to do some yard work later. Last night wasn't quite as bad, as I only had pain when I woke up, and managed to sleep through the night. Thank you to those you have kept me in your thoughts and prayers regarding this pain issue. I was up too late watching "Call the Midwife" on Netflix; I just found it, really like it and there are 12 seasons! I'm only up to season 4. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily @richwmn. I'm sure all cruisers can celebrate World Mariner Day. I like Broadway (and the West End in London). In elementary school we took trips to Broadway, since it wasn't that far. Confucius was wise. True quote. Pass on the meal (fish) and drink. Yes to the wine. I have been to Anchorage and Denali. In Anchorage we went to Portage Glacier and did a seaplane tour. 2 good days in history. It's somewhat sunny and going up to 75. A nice weekend is predicted too. I had another bad night, being awakened with pain and having to sit up. You can't sleep that way. I hope the Physical Medicine doctor on Monday has some ideas to help. I need to get the lawn mowed sometime this weekend. @rafinmd Bon Voyage! I like the meal and drink (not sure about the bourbon) and pass on the wine. I haven't been to Bergen. I'm a Beatles fan and like "Hey Jude". It's slightly warmer here now (69) with a bit of sun here and there. I slept a bit better, due to all the Benadryl for my injection; so I only had pain on awakening. I spent the morning packaging up something I sold on ebay. Then it was go to PT, then UPS. I haven't been to Dakar. 2 interesting days in history. I tried to post earlier but CC wouldn't load. And then I fell asleep around 1PM due to the Benadryl pre-medication before my RA shot this morning, plus a bad night's sleep. I was awake at 2:30, 4:30 and then 6:30 AM due to my leg pain. We're finally seeing a bit of sun, after about 5 cloudy days in a row; it's beautiful out. I got a call that my new glasses are ready, but I will pick them up next week. @Cruising-along Happy Anniversary! That was pre-digital photos. Another cool and cloudy day here. I'm just back from getting hip x-rays. I messaged with my Rheumatology PA yesterday and she wanted the x-rays and for me to see a Physiatrist (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation doctor). I got an appointment for Monday by going to a non-preferred location for me, but it beats waiting until January to go closer to home. I may end up needing an MRI. I'm just having a bite to eat before heading to PT in a while. Some trees are starting to change color, sigh. @puppycanducruise Nice hibiscus flower; mine bloomed a while ago and the flower is long gone. Hard to remember, but I seem to recall we got a little sack with an assortment of chocolates at the end of the tour. Grabbing off the conveyer belt was a no no! While we all had to put on hairnets, my BFF had the beard net too. Of course we bought stuff at the store as well ( the fruit and nut bars are my favorite).

Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I'll salute food service workers who work so hard. My only experience was working in a small restaurant on the boardwalk at the Jersey shore, summers after my junior and senior years in high school. I'll salute the dear community; there's a nearby school for the deaf, which helps with integration into society. I used to collect Star Trek comic books. Interesting quote. I'll pass on the meal (tofu) and drink and take the wine. I have been to Dunedin on my first ever HAL cruise on the Statendam. Important days in history. We're stuck with highs on only about 65F here, and occasional showers all week. I had another bad night. Not only my leg pain, but the right side of my back felt like the sacroiliitis I had 9 years ago. I did take a larger dose of ibuprofen this morning. I'm waiting to hear back from the Rheumatology office. @grapau27 I hope you feel ok today after your flu shot. I understand your not being able to share your travels beforehand. When we were staying with a friend in Germany, we had to remember to shut the windows, as if there was a burglary and windows had been open, insurance would not have paid. @StLouisCruisers I'm sure DS will be tired today after that long trip back home.
