I contacted Coco Reef directly and the response from Vince was the that day pass was $59 for 9/4/14. Previous posters have indicated they were told $49. Anyone know which is correct?
.....seeing anyone post that it was $49.
I went there 2 years ago and it was $59 then too. Damn good deal for the day. Enjoy yourself!

Or, you might get New England and the Maritimes next month. pack with caution.
Exactly what I've been dreading for my upcoming cruise. This is the latest I have sailed during hurricane season and I know a cruise is a cruise, but there is a difference being diverted to another warm weather port and going north to Canada.

I thought this thread would be fun, but this is turning out to be pure torture, reminding every time I am not on the ship yet.

This is exactly why I don't book guarantee cabins. I want the cabin that I want, not that someone picked for me. I also do my research as to where cabins are and where I want to be.
My point being, if you book guarantee you shouldn't complain.

What about the fitness center?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That is a separate area.
You have free access to the gym.
All the fitness equipment if free of charge.
Some classes you have to pay for others you don't.

The regular #7 local bus still runs on the schedule it always has, but according to reports they have at times limited the number of cruise ship passengers who are permitted to board the route at Dockyard if there are commuters who need to be accommodated .
Personally I think taking the ferry to Hamilton and then the outbound #7 (or a taxi) from Hamilton to Coco Reef is just as good a way to go, if not better, regardless, because it's a long bus ride from Dockyard to Coco Reef, as opposed to a short ferry ride and a short bus or taxi ride.
That's what we did when we went there last time and we will do it again this year. Ferry to Hamilton and taxi to Coco Reef.

We walked through the BA spa area on our first sea day and it looked anything but relaxing. It was absolutely packed with people and very messy. Towels, cups lying around everywhere. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. No way that was worth $199
Here's a vote that the spa is stupendous. We were there all the time during our cruise. Never messy, never crowded. And if we weren't there we were in Vibe to avoid the crowds.

If you are booked in a Haven Suite and your friend is not, can you invite them to join you by the Haven pool and the Haven restaurant?
Think about your question. Do you think it is fair for you to share your perks with people who did not pay for them?

I doubt anyone would want to be tainted with person's presence in their state, city or neighborhood so lets just say he's from somewhere on this planet... or better still... another world. :p
I think he is from Ignoramus Island.

Thanks I did not get a pre-cruise letter. I got my welcome letter and luggage tags yesterday. Letter was very brief gave a phone number and email but did not provide any details.i called the number yesterday but after 45 minutes in the queue I had to drop off the line and head to a meeting. I will try again on Monday.
.....my cruise is 3 weeks out and all I have gotten is the same as you. :(
Once I see the pillow choice menu, I feel a little special. ;)

Are the aft balconies on the Epic nice and big like on the Breakaway and 10th floor on the Gem? If so, which floor has the largest afts. Thanks
I don't believe the aft balconies on the Epic are like the Breakaway, I think they are all pretty much the same size.
I also look for an answer to this question.

Haven't heard a lot of feedback about variations on those rooms. Maybe look for Bear3412 thread who has a spreadsheet about the BA rooms and links to some pics in cases.
.....with the Balcony Spreadsheet
Hope this helps.

Looking forward to our cruise to Bermuda. I'm excited to see the pink sand at Horseshoe Beach. I read on one of the post that the sand is not really pink. Can someone tell me what color is the sand? What other beaches would you recommend?
.....the sands at Horseshoe are not Hot Pink like you are probably imagining, but a pinkish hue compared to white sand we normally see.
You might want to go over to the Ports of Call, Bermuda board, do a little reading and pose this question over there.
Hope this helps.

It's just poor management quality control on NCL's part. There's no excuse for them to continue to say they dock at Kings Wharf when their normal berth has been at Heritage Wharf ever since it was built several years ago.
But I disagree about wanting to "separate themselves from the pack". The two berths are adjacent to each other so I'm not sure how using one name versus the other creates any meaningful separation of their product from anyone else's. Frankly "Kings Wharf" has been used incorrectly to mean Royal Naval Dockyard for so many years that lots of people really have no idea that it's just the name of a pier where cruise ships tie up and that Royal Naval Dockyard is the correct name of the complex where the two piers are located. There's a lot more to Royal Naval Dockyard than the two cruise ship piers.
.....kind of a little deceptive marketing. They could say that they are at Heritage Wharf now and you might get a lot of non-NCL cruisers wanting to try out the other dock who did not know they were next to each other.

.....whichever side ports to the dock will see more than the other. That is because you can look across the water to see more of Bermuda further in the distance.

Spirit class are smaller but have more room per passenger. Layout is better IMHO. All decks go through- no going up and down to get around MDR and or galley.Miracle is by far a favorite! Sailed her last October, this past March, booked again for October and next March. Give it a shot. Great class of ship by far.
I agree with both of the previous posters. I have sailed on the Miracle 5 times, each on a different itinerary and have never had a bad cruise. Navigating/layout of the ship is a big plus but my favorite things are the aft Vista suites.
Those are balconies to die for.
