I booked with them for my one way LAX to FCO for my transatlantic cruise. No problems. Even with their fee, it was much cheaper than any other site. Since it was a US carrier, I was able to book my seats on the carriers website.
I have found they have great prices overseas but not so much within the US. I purchased my return on Southwest's website as it was better than they could do.

We will be going on the Anthem next month, I see that we can get the coffee card for $31, can you tell me if they have chai latte and is it part of the coffee card? thanks
Although I didn't order them, chai lattes were available on the Jewel last month at Cafe Lattetudes.

Am I understanding this correctly? I can use my Amex to purchase $450 of OBC in order to get the credit, but if I put my MC on file when I check in, any unused OBC will get refunded to the MC? That just doesn't seem right for some reason...
Yes....that worked for me. I had some money leftover and it was automatically refunded. No need to go to guest services as long as you are ok with it going back to the card used for on board expenses.

So, if I put $450 on my account towards OBC, is that considered "refundable OBC" if I don't use it all by the end of the trip?

Yes, I just did that. However I did use a different card for my on board expenses as I don't travel with my Amex.

Here are my thoughts....
Take the bus from the airport to Piazzle Roma. That is the last place for ground transportation. I would stay near P.Roma (I've stayed at Hotel Arlecchino which is one small bridge away). You can walk from the hotel to the people mover to catch your ship.

The terms say spend onboard not included?
I prepaid shipboard credit.

Royal is now offering a standard card through the cruise planner for none if it's sailings. 15 coffees for $31.
I purchased it on the Jewel. It was not offered on my cruise planner but easily purchased in Cafe Lattetudes. With gratuity it came to approx $36.

My husband doesn't drink coffee, could he get something like a hot chocolate?
Also, if I just get one card, for me, since I love to drink coffee, could he also get an occasional hot chocolate? The card is for 15 drinks. Is that specific to one person? Or could we share the card?
I think it says coffee based beverages but I did get hot cocoa by using a punch on the card.

It shows up for our Adventure cruise! Woo!
And in T&C it says "Specialty Coffees do not include any beverages served inside licensed Starbucks[emoji768] stores/cafes."
Not that that matters for Adventure, but I think it should answer the question for those on ships with actual Starbucks.
Now MY question is...I remember hearing that the card's included beverages are somewhat limited, like no frappucinos. Does anyone know if this is true? We tend to get iced lattes and iced mochas, and want to make sure those are included. (the info about the drinks in the listing is silly...they talk about "coffee"...espresso isn't brewed coffee, and actual coffee is free, so it just makes no sense)
I had iced mochas on the Jewel. No problem at all.

We just got off an 8 day Freedom cruise.
I purchased the coffee card and used 11 of the 15 punches but was told I could use the card on another RC cruise.
The coffee is Starbucks.
Interesting. I was told I couldn't. But I did end up using my punches....they should allow you to use them on another cruise.

Mine was not available in the cruise planner so I purchased on board at Cafe Lattetudes (Jewel). Same price as it seems to be in the planner.

Been nearly 10 years since we cruised with Royal. Our last cruise was with Princess and with them, for about $25 or so we bought a coffee card that gave us things like Cappucinos etc. from their International Cafe up to a max of 10 drinks I think.
Will such a card be offered on Navigator and if so where would you be able to buy the Latte's etc from.
Many thanks
I just got off the Jewel and purchased the coffee card at Cafe Lattetudes. It was 15 coffees for about $36 (includes tax). They allowed me to get any size coffee, and as of now, you cannot use the remaining punches on a future cruise.

Just to update the information on the card.....yes it can only be bought on board. With taxes it was about $36 for 15 coffees at Cafe lattetudes (my ship didn't have a Starbucks) any size drink. Although I used all of my punches, leftover punches cannot be used on another cruise (like Princess allows).

I've never been offered an upgrade or upsell. But I have moved to a better cabin by watching prices (even after final payment). I know I cannot get money back but a better cabin is good with me.

I just returned from a cruise on the Jewel. I bought my card and could use it at Cafe Lattetudes. I frequently ordered large mochas and that was never an issue. Although I did use all of my punches, I was told you could not use any leftover punches on a future cruise (like Princess allows). With tax, the card was $36+ for 15 coffees.

I had the voom for $8.99 but now I've cancelled and rebooked the book+stream for $8.99. Thanks for the heads up. This is for allure January 29, 2017.

I rebooked. Had surf only for $9.09. Changed to surf and stream for $8.99. My cruise is next month.
But the non-alcoholic packages aren't on sale.

I send requests to shareholderbenefit@rccl.com and have always received a reply within a few days - many times the next day.
This is what I did. I scanned my account statement showing my RCCL shares, emailed it, and got an answer the next day. Unfortunately, my fare included a promotion, so I didn't receive the shipboard credit. It cannot hurt to ask[emoji1]

DH traveled half the year for his job for 7 years,
missed some flights, and the airlines never charged him for a rebooking after he had missed it. He once missed one by 24 hours (time change funkiness that the TA causes but neither of us caught) and still wasn't charged to get him on a flight.
You did something very wrong to get charged like that.

My guess is that in your case, your husband has "status" with the airlines. Generally if you do a same day change, there is a change fee and the current airfare.

I can see the Royal Replenish at $18 (previously $26). I am on the Jewel next month.

I tend to watch pricing even after final payment. Yes, it's no fun when my cabin price drops and the cabins above me don't drop (or are sold out). However I've been lucky in a few cases to upgrade to better cabins (balcony to JS to GS). I know I cannot get money back but I like the possibility of a better cabin.

Yes, use Choice Air for your one-way flights. I paid $499 for my one way LAX to Rome later this year. My return from San Juan I booked myself on Southwest.

I have one day in Lisbon in November as a port stop. Is it possible to walk from the ship to st George's castle? If so, how far is it? If not, can I take public transport to the castle and walk back to the ship? I am assuming we dock near the Bridge. Thanks, Dena

Thanks. This is a great deal. Do you know if I can use it on my next cruise if I don't use them all on the cruise I purchase it on?

Bringing Wine Onboard - Still Conflicting Info on This
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
I just returned last month from a cruise on Royal Caribbean. I was able to carry on 2 bottles of wine on embarkation. I had no problem getting wine glasses from my cabin steward or having a bartender open the bottle and give me glasses.
