  1. Biggles wishes the Cunard cats Happy International Cat Day
  2. From a recent QM2 Daily Programme
  3. I should probably explain this a bit more, Cunard is a bit more high brow so more serious speakers, more classical music, less tribute acts (none except Beatles tribute bands). There is lots of music around the ships and plenty going on. There are links to recent Daily Programmes on the Welcome thread which will give you an idea
  4. Busy I guess, it often is on port intensive cruises.
  5. I loved Peaky Blinders but the accents were a bit hit & miss in the first series ! It's worth sticking with it and closing your eyes if necessary at the very nasty bits. Hope your Covid test was OK today @Lanky Lad, have a good drive to Southampton tomorrow
  6. I have moved your question to a new thread You will need at least a dark suit and tie if you want to eat in the dining room on a Gala night.
  7. I'm sorry to hear you were so disappointed, I'm intrigued by the "chicken fingers", what were they ?
  8. I did write a thread after my own single P&O experience, I'll see if I can find it. But briefly, more international passengers, more expensive but better drinks, tips not included, better food (we had to pay extra to get decent food on P&O). Entertainment was better on P&O but that's not that important to us.
  9. You're going to Northern Europe in November, you'll be wearing long trousers all the time ! It's going to be cold. Congratulations on your wedding
  10. Thanks, there have been reports that there was no food available on embarkation day. It used to be our first day routine so I'm hoping it will be still be available by the end of September.
  11. We're back to nice sunny weather, I went round to a friend's yesterday for an afternoon of catching up and non-alcoholic drinks. Mr HH hosted a few friends in our garden. We finished watching Bosch Legacy this week so I wanted to thank whoever recommended the original series.
  12. Thank you, enjoy the rest of your trip
  13. I'm one, I really don't like it. How difficult is it to say British?
  14. Same here and I wouldn't discuss what I'd paid on board either.
  15. I don't suppose you noticed whether the Golden Lion was serving lunch on embarkation day ?
  16. That's a relief, thanks for letting us know. Have a great trip.
  17. For a UK booking you do need to provide Insurance details before you can check in online.
  18. If you booked in the US I don't think Cunard had a travel insurance requirement, just a recommendation.
