That's interesting, we're sailing on Queen Victoria in late September and there's no mention of it so far. We were offered Early or Late.

You must be very unlucky, I quite often have to tell a restaurant they've forgotten to charge us for something.

@Tonopah I hope your smell and taste are back to normal soon. We've got quite a few people off work again at the moment & we're going to a family wedding on Monday. I think it'll be a miracle if I get through the next week without catching it. The weather forecast is quite good on Monday so hopefully we'll be able to spend lots of time outside. In Cruise news our Cunard "invitation" for our September cruise arrived today.

The only worry I would have is if you can't use your arm at all will you be OK if the weather is rough ?

There's a Bank Holiday at the beginning of May as well but that's only 1 off school, not the whole week

I like whichever one I'm on ! We're going to the Mediterranean on QV in September and then a similar itinerary on QM2 next June so that will make a direct comparison easier. QM2 will always be unique and people either love or hate her quirky layout. My husband definitely prefers her but I find the smaller ships are much easier to navigate.
