It’s cool this morning so I’ve opened up the house. It’s been nice(r) the last few days (in the low 90s F) but I could do without the humidity. The Rotterdam price increase is scheduled for Sept 9, but it says “We will honor current pricing for bookings made prior to Sept 1st.” So you should be fine since you have reservations. At least that’s how I interpret it. I’m in the same boat, my cruise is in Dec and we have reservations Tamarind.

I have a recipe to make lasagna in the slow cooker. It pretty good and I do not have to heat up the house with the oven. 😋

Earlier this week I was able to prepay crew incentives (gratuities) with gift cards. But as @LAFFNVEGAS said I had to call, I could not pay online. I DID purchase OBC online with gift cards. 🙂

So I would buy SPF 15 and kept refilling his SPF 8 bottles. I don’t think he ever figured it out. 😛 Good thing they don’t make SPF 8 any longer. 😢💔🙏 Bacon cheeseburger for me with zucchini fries. 😋

Happy Friday! We had a nice get-together last night with our bible study group. No study, just socializing. Two of the ladies had went to Thailand on a mission trip so we got to hear about that (and they brought gifts for us gals 🙂). One of those ladies went on a cruise with her DH immediately after returning so we got to hear about that also. Lots of hugs all around. BLT Pasta Salad: It was good but needs tweaking. Looks wonderful 😋 but how do you eat it? I’ve had seafood boils but not in a soup. The ones I’ve had at restaurants the food (crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, etc.) is boiled, drained, and then tossed onto the table that’s lined with butcher paper and you eat it with your hands.

I saw the eye surgeon for my last check this afternoon. Eye pressure is good (15 and 17). Macular hole is closed. He releasing me back to my ophthalmologist. I still have some “threads” that hopefully get absorbed. Now to get new glasses! Thank you for all your prayers during this journey. Prayers being lifted up for Sam and his medical team. 🙏 I like In-&-Out Burger’s burgers but hate their fries. Their fried need to be eaten right away or they get soggy. You cannot take them home. DH loves Burger King but unfortunately the one near us closed. My favorite drive-thru is a mom & pop burger joint. They know me/my voice (might be a bad thing?). We eat there about once a week.

I usually wait until final payment… just in case I change my mind. 😉

That’s why I stopped eating in the MDR on embarkation day and now eat in the (crowded, noisy) Lido… just for the Peanut Butter Silk Pie! 😋

I love Q Texas Smokehouse. 😋 I usually get the Deviled Eggs, Pitmaster Platter, Banana Pudding or Peach Cobbler. And I think they have a smoky peach margarita. 😋
