  1. Typically lobster tail night is 2 nights before the end of the cruise. It is never the last night of the cruise because the idea is that on that night you have packed all your Evening Chic clothing away in your suitcases and have them set out in the hallway to be picked up in preparation for disembarkation.
  2. Many people have already mentioned Apple's AirTags. We used them for the first time on our last cruise (Constellation). All of our luggage arrived at our stateroom except for one (mushroom symbol). The AirTags allowed us to keep a watchful eye on it. I was also starting to wonder if this piece of wayward luggage was somehow impounded in the naughty room for having something illegal in it (I wouldn't know what that would be, but it turned out not to be the case). Fortunately it got delivered to our stateroom well before we sailed out of Rome.
  3. Your story and the one about the mis-delivered suitcase being shoved under the bed is mind blowing to me.
  4. I've been pretty active on Cruise Critic for many years and I can only recall one or two stories like yours where the luggage never made it to the stateroom after handing it off at the pier. It's extremely rare. I'm so sorry that it happened to you.
  5. Our son swears by their fries.
  6. "Old" system (as you call it) + stateroom doors supporting NFC unlocking were on Constellation (Nov 2022) and Reflection (Jan 2019).
  7. Your opinion is shared by many people on this forum. I don't think it has changed back.
  8. Uh. I actually have paper copies. Except for my spouse, I bring the real thing.
  9. I also thought the surge protected power strip was interesting. It didn't come from me and it had "Audio Video Dept" (or something like that) written on it in black marker.
  10. That makes a little more sense to me because changing the way the stateroom televisions are connected (aka upgrading) would be pretty expensive and might be something that would be done during the Revolution makeover. Perhaps the televisions in the suites (or higher level suites) are setup differently.
  11. We also bring our smartphones for a variety of reasons including document retention, mobile payment, and communication.
  12. I also found this in the cabinet beneath our television.
  13. Interesting. Our stateroom television aboard Constellation last November was not set up the way you described, t was set up the old way. Connecting to the HDMI and changing the input source was done like you would at home using the television's (Samsung) remote control which is pictured.
  14. We were in the family cabins on Summit which are all the way at the back. We did not experience any vibrations. I think you can rest fine if you put in a move up bid. The old Century class ships were a different story.
  15. It's been showing up that way for some time now, but you still have the 90 free minute option.
  16. We were on Eclipse in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Our stateroom had a flat panel television with HDMI inputs.
  17. Ah. We are literally taking an end of year Solstice cruise leaving Singapore on Dec 22. We will be back on Solstice doing Sydney to Honolulu in Apr 2025.
  18. If you cancel your cruise, your specialty dinner reservations are automatically cancelled and the money refunded without you having to do anything extra.
  19. The Celebrity app allows you to message with each other without the need to buy an internet package. Btw, we will be cruising on Solstice at the end of the year as well.
  20. It would be good to know if you get this service for free through your suite status.
  21. Thanks for reporting. CC member, SingBill, is also on the same cruise with you and posted the good news yesterday.
