  1. The last time I flew in a plane with a door issue was in 2016. Our United Airlines 767 aircraft had a problem with one of its rear emergency exit doors which had to be repaired in the USA. The door was not operational but the plane was still considered air worthy. So before the plane was loaded with passengers at Amsterdam, the plane’s carrying capacity was cut in half by declaring a huge section of economy seats in the back nearest the problem door as no longer “usable”. The affected seats were taped off and no one was allowed to sit there during our transatlantic flight to Chicago. Yeah, a lot of passengers had to be assigned to different flights. I was one of the unaffected passengers.
  2. From your Cruise Critic ground support team. This is what we see:
  3. Norwaylady, I hope this gets sorted out for you soon. A good example on why you should arrive at least a day before your cruise (or two days in your case).
  4. Where the Loyalty Savings was not declared for my Wi-Fi packages on Tuesday (Post #8), they are now applied in my Cruise Planner today:
  5. I am talking about the current format as being the new format. Celebrity switched over to the current Cruise Planner format a few years ago. And back then when they pushed it out, not all the sailings were converted over to the new (current) format right away.
  6. I don't think it's you. The roll out is not completely pushed out yet. I remember when the current Cruise Planner "look" replaced the old Cruise Planner format, the roll out was not every sailing all at once.
  7. As previous posters have stated, Reflection carries more passengers without a corresponding increase in public space. Silhouette also received an extended dry dock for its "Revolution" makeover which Reflection has yet to receive.
  8. The links show the schedule for when the ship's itineraries and pricing are (were) released and can be booked. Anyone on this forum who likes to book a cruise as soon as it comes out watches that schedule. Here is a thread from Nov.Dec 2022 that may clarify things.
  9. You must have just missed the 50 PUP webinar in Dec.
  10. That is what the schedule refers to--the release of specific ship's itineraries with pricing. Maybe I don't quite understand what you are talking about.
  11. So do you expect the Fall 2025 Trans-Canal sailing to be released next week?
  12. Here is the release schedule that Celebrity published for 2024/2025 seasons and this was the release schedule published for 2025/2026 sailings.
  13. I don’t think there are any bad CC cabins. Personally, I prefer to stay away from the balcony cabins on Deck 9 because of the large overhanging deck from above which cuts off all views of the sky and sun (not true for the balcony cabins at the stern looking out over the wake). It’s perfect for those that like a balcony that is always shady. Also there is potential noise from the public deck above the Deck 9 cabins such as deck furniture being repositioned early in the morning.
  14. Have a nice cruise! I look forward to reading your posts.
  15. and it will help reduce the volume of phone calls that Celebrity receives.
  16. The dummy 3rd passenger doesn't have to be a no show, you can remove it when you make final payment (if final payment is not due yet).
  17. I just checked the link myself and it works for me as well.
  18. It's hard to say that the webinars have been devalued based in my opinion. For example there has been a mix of 3 and 5 Club Point webinars in the past with the first 3 Club Point webinar making its appearance back in Oct 2021 (if you click or tap on the table below, it becomes more readable). Also the 2025/2026 Deployment webinar in December and credited in January 2024 was a 5 pointer so they are still around. What is hard to tell is why one webinar is worth 3 points and why another is worth 5. I don't think it is webinar length and when you scan the list, a clear pattern doesn't emerge to me. The dates in the table below represent when the points were credited and not when the activity was performed. The table has not been updated to include this month's webinar that should be credited against April.
  19. Yes, I am seeing the same problem as well.
  20. Congratulations. That's why it pays to monitor pricing.
  21. As 39august mentioned, the dining room will store any unused wine for you. And it can be brought to your table even if you are eating in a different restaurant.
