Actually there is a modest 5% discount for Hollywood Hot Glass for all Captains Club tiers. Just nothing special for Elites. Here’s the list of Captains Club benefits. You will see the discount mentioned near the very bottom of the list.
@prmssk posted a well written Xpedition Northern Loop thread with excellent photos back in November (link). It is a terrific read.
I took the following Xpedition sailing (Southern Loop) over Thanksgiving last year and I also posted a live thread with photos (link).
If you have already seen them, my apologies.
@sandiego1 took an Xpedition cruise earlier this year when things erupted. She only purchased the cruise and cobbled together her own land package. She didn't post a live thread but she has posted commentary about her trip--including how the ship was only half full because of multiple cancellations from the civil unrest.
There is a roll call board for Xpedition although it is never very busy. Here is the link: Celebrity Xpedition Roll Call.
Wait, I see that you actually started a roll call and it has a tiny bit of activity.
Thank you for writing your review. I am glad to read that your cruise went well. Your comment about inadequate/incorrect description regarding shore excursions is a common (and new) complaint.
We've always gotten our luggage before dinner time; however extra leeway is given for the first night because lost bags can happen. Another reason the first night is not Evening Chic.
Okay, I am home and I am able to post the 18 month Book Later form. You can see that even the fine print on the back page (2nd image) declares 18 months
No, it’s 18 months through and through. Here’s the link to the form images:

I know. I read it three times. The lengthened example was used to reinforce the concept that you don’t get points unless you are aboard. I was pointing out a likely exception.
I think there’s got to be an exception if the cruise is unexpectedly cut short by the cruise line. You should get all the points that you would have gotten if the cruise had not been shortened.
Doing the GBR as a land vacation is much better from a snorkeling/diving perspective for the private excursion reason you mentioned. The ship's offerings give you less choice and are expensive. Good luck with your trip.
Airlines and hotels are usually a slightly different situation in that if you cancel late, you will either get a voucher (airline) or your loss is limited to the 1st night's stay (hotel). I wouldn't expect to get loyalty points in those cases.
I am so sorry about your injury, I hope you get better and fast. Yeah, Celebrity's loyalty system has always been set up like that. I understand your frustration. Be sure to rebook yourself on another GBR cruise. It is not to be missed.
A stapler free solution is to purchase clear holders to slide your printed luggage tags into. And then affix the holder to your luggage on embarkation day. Here are a bunch of different offering through Amazon: link. The cruise luggage tag holders are all re-usable.

Try a different web browser. Make sure you are signed out of the Celebrity Cruises website (which you probably were).
If you want to tell us which sailing you were looking at, we can see if it works on our end.
