  1. That sounds awesome.
  2. We didn't see the flamingos on that trip (Reflection, 2019) but we did see them on an earlier cruise (Eclipse, 2015). Pretty cool.
  3. We last visited Bonaire in 2019. We did a dive at a reef by the cruise pier (1st photo) and also at the Salt Pier further south (2nd photo).
  4. What method did you use to apply for the OBC? Email or did you use the online form?
  5. Yes, I’ve noted in my post the conversion of the second bedroom into a closet for Horizon Suites. This still meets the OP’s requirements, I believe.
  6. Christmas/NYE sailing. Also Curaçao is shown on Celebrity website as being 1130a - 800p. I’m guessing that was a result of a change made to accommodate the switch in ports.
  7. Bonaire is out; Grand Cayman substituted instead. This according to the roll call.
  8. That is a very good point because when the cabins are first released for booking, the 5 person minimum is enforced. Later as time goes by, the 5 person restriction is removed in order to sell any remaining unbooked FV (aka Ultra Deluxe Veranda). When the FVs are converted into Horizon Suites (Equinox and Silhouette), there is no 5 person minimum because the extra bedroom is turned into a walk-in closet accessible from the master bedroom.
  9. If you think the Solstice class connecting cabins are attractive: There are four sets on each ship. Two on Deck 7 and two on Deck 8. They are all at the front of the ship overlooking the bow. The Deck 8 sets are much better than their Deck 7 counterparts because the Deck 7 balcony is small and, in my opinion, unusable. If you are looking for the "classic" suite experience, then the Royal Suite + Ultra Deluxe Concierge Class combo is the way to go although they are on the older Millennium class ships (which I very much like). The Royal Suites are very nice. Again, it is possible that the Edge class ships have something that fit your specifications. I don't know those ships as well.
  10. There are Sky Suite + Sunset Veranda connecting cabins on all Solstice class ships (aft) but they do not meet Specification #1 on your list.
  11. I am not familiar with Edge class offerings, but here are your options for the other ships which I believe meet all of your specifications. Millennium class ships (Royal Suite + Ultra Deluxe Concierge Class). This would include Millennium, Infinity, Summit, and Constellation. Solstice class ships have this interesting combination although they are slightly different on different ships:: Silhouette and Equinox (Horizon Suite + Prime Ocean View) Solstice, Eclipse, and Reflection have (Ultra Deluxe Veranda + Prime Ocean View) Although it is not a suite, the Ultra Deluxe Veranda cabin is a spacious multi-bedroom cabin with a separate living room and dining room. Below is a floor plan for the ones on Reflection which is furnished the best compared to the ones on Solstice and Eclipse. There is a private hallway that connects this cabin with the adjacent ocean view cabin. When the Ultra Deluxe Veranda cabins were converted to Horizon Suites on Equinox and Silhouette, the bedroom with the bunk beds was converted into a walk-in closet and they are significantly more expensive. When the Solstice class ships were built, these large cabins were originally categorized as Family Veranda cabins which is why the drawing below has the FV designation.
  12. Onboard Xpedition, there was a USB drive consisting of a montage of photos. There were no photos taken underwater that I can recall. Here is a link to a post where you can access the video of photos that were provided on our sailing. For us, we had a 7am flight out of UIO and were assigned the JW Marriott with a 4:30 am ground transport pickup time. Staying at the JW Marriott was something that we preferred but I imagine we could have stayed at the EB.Hotel if we had requested it in advance.
  13. Actually the one category upgrade is available to all Captains Club levels assuming you don't consider "Preview" a level. It's been that way ever since I can remember.
  14. I don't think there is a practical limit as long as you hold the stock and have a qualified booking. I requested and received OBC in Nov 2022 for our Apr 9 2025 trans-Pacific sailing if that gives you any idea.....Of course it's been more rewarding to see the stock price go up from $58/share since then!
  15. For the few times I have done it, I get the fastest results by emailing shareholderbenefit@rccl.com. The last time I did it, I emailed requests for shareholder OBC for 3 sailings and got the OBC for each one in just a tad over 3 hours.
  16. I am also able to log in and see the same cruise. The only problem is the high prices in the Cruise Planner......
  17. Totally agree. That also goes for massages....
  18. Celebrity has them although I’ve not used them.
  19. We did the Chef’s Table this past April aboard Summit. I put a few posts together on the experience here: link
  20. @huladoula1, I don't have any problems logging in either through my desktop or my iPhone. If problems still persist, try another web browser.
  21. Based on your post you only need to know which social media platform you use to figure out what generation you are! (I am NOT serious).
  22. Since the Inner and Outer Loops are alternated, isn’t what you’re proposing is to do a back to back sailing? 2 nights Quito + 7 nights Outer Loop + 7 nights Inner Loop + 1 night Quito If that is what you are talking about, then yes, it can and has been done.
  23. My wife made a similar one when we were on our New Zealand cruise. Quite nerve wracking to pack it properly and fly back home with it from Sydney!
  24. Be sure to sign up for a specific time slot as soon as you get onboard. The first two sea days will probably have the highest demand.
