  1. Here is the corrected table. The formulas are updated so that this particular error on my part should hot happen again. There are two differences from the previously posted table: the monthly average for 2024 has been corrected (pointed out by @NorthStarStateCruiser) and the monthly average since the inception of the PUP program has been corrected (lower right hand corner of the table). Since I had to burn a post to show the corrected table, I am posting some additional information--the log of each individual PUP activity (again not including the PUPs that required social media participation). This is the raw data from which all of the charts and tables were created. This also will answer @Stockjock's question. The dates shown in the above table are the month and year that the PUPs were awarded. The "14th" of each month was simply the default day that I used as it may have been awarded on a slightly different day. Since I am only doing an analysis broken down by month, the actual day during the month that the PUPs were awarded does not matter although it may matter to some which is why I am pointing this out.
  2. It turns out that all of Celebrity’s Galapagos cruise tours do 2 nights in Quito on the front end of the cruise tour. It’s the post cruise itinerary that differentiates the 10, 11, and 16 night packages.
  3. Btw, I agree with @sippican. 16 night MP cruise tour should have 7 nights on Flora. I’m not aware of any 10 night sailing but I could be wrong. See this link as an example. 7 nights/8 days on Flora. 2 nights pre-cruise + 7 nights Flora + 7 nights post-cruise.
  4. Yes. You get Club Points for each night on land or sea at the rate that your cabin is set to earn. You’ll even see that in your projected point total in your Cruise Planner. You can see that in my screenshot below: Xpedition Suite for 11 nights at 12 points per night. Any bonus points (e.g. double point promotion) will not show in Cruise Planner however.
  5. You are correct. Correction will be forthcoming.
  6. Historically we are entering the one month period where there is the least amount of PUP activity.
  7. We recently took a Galapagos cruise tour that involved just Quito (we didn't do Machu Pidchu). I was extremely impressed with the facilities, service, and guiding that was done on our trip. In Quito, Celebrity used the JW Marriott Hotel which is the same hotel that Silversea uses.(we saw their desk there). Celebrity Flora is an excellent new-ish ship and compares favorably with Silver Origin.
  8. I have updated the PUP tracker charts. PUP Points awarded each year broken down by type of activity:
  9. I got my points, too, for a total of 1,841! Wait, that's the number of points needed for the next level, Zenith.....
  10. Back in Dec there was bad weather that delayed the arrival of cruise ships to the Port of Miami. I am sure it affected their departure as well.
  11. You are welcome! Cruise Critic is a great forum!!
  12. No, you are correct. I don't know why I said tow.
  13. You don't understand, this is our ritual and it has been religiously practiced for years. Hopefully this batch job person that you speak of is not in charge of payroll.
  14. But if you are driving a car that you don't want to keep.......
  15. The Port of Miami and Port Everglades are open and operating normally. Reflection is the only Celebrity ship set to sail today (Port Everglades) and she is apparently slated to have a Perfect Day at Coco Cay tomorrow.
  16. Well, did you know that during Flora's inaugural year, she had to tow Xpedition which had run aground in the Galapagos (oops!).
  17. I can't see mine either, but I can smell it.
  18. That makes sense regarding Silver Origin. Getting Flora's license (tourist patent) directly from Xpedition and then using Xperience's license for Xpedition is pretty well chronicled.
  19. It seems odd to me that something that basic (getting a license) would be messed up when you order two ships! Why is it that RCG was not able to get a license for Fauna but could for Sliver Origin?
  20. Thank you for posting this information. In the end, I hope you’ll enjoy your time on Flora.
  21. Congratulations. Even though it was forced on you, I think you will be very happy with your cruise aboard Flora. It's gonna be an awesome trip.
  22. Thank you for closing the loop on this subject. It has generated some discussion as well on the main Celebrity board. There has not been anything announced publicly by Celebrity however an affected passenger did post the letter they received. The options including being transferred at no extra cost to an equivalent cabin on Flora which I think is fair although not everyone will be able to take advantage of that. It is doubtful that any of the crew would have been aware of this pending sale while you were on board.
