I sometimes enjoy soup, entree and main meal on a cruise, if they are my favourite meals. If dessert is a favourite I'll skip main in that case.

I'm boarding tomorrow afternoon on Luminosa, so it was not my ship.

Did you pay extra to share? I like Katz Deli. My favourite is Zabar's, where you can eat, be entertained and shop.

Thanks All this talk for cheesecake, I almost had cheesecake for morning tea at a craft sale. In the end I had old favourite jam and cream with sultana scones.

Where is Harold's? I hate the pickles and they give you a bowl of them for free!

Cruising is meant to be relaxing not frustrating. Maybe they need more temporary office staff in this time of increasing numbers of covid passengers.

Has anyone heard how Luminosa is handling the rough seas, currently en route back to Brisbane. All GC Beaches are closed because of wild conditions.

I can't understand it either. I wouldn't pay when I've already paid for food. If you are starving, you can buy food of your choice at ports of call.

I wonder if that is true. Yes, I wish I had done that before we retired. Card was in my husband's name only with me on second card. yet I made all payments on due date. I had a card in my name which I discontinued when banks started charging for credit cards. Banks make a fortune from Seniors who leave money in bank accounts earning minimal interest. When they increase rates it isn't for these type of accounts. I feel exploited!

Wow that woman probably thought she was safe in her cabin. Seas can be unpredictable in that part of the world. Our roughest seas were between South Georgia Island and Antarctica. Not the infamous Drake either way. I was glad of the expertise of the Norwegian sailors.

What makes NY Cheesecake different?

Tangalooma Resort has the lease of only a small part of Moreton Island. Further along the beach there are private holiday houses. So you can walk along the beach wherever the ship allows. However, I wouldn't swim on Moreton Island because a lot of sharks have been photographed around the wrecks.

Glad you had a great cruise. Pleased to hear the shows were really good. Which would you recommend if I only went to one? I'm getting excited, as I miss the North, which I love. I'm looking forward to brunch on our first day, which is a sea day, and freshly made pizza cooked to order. I have packed soap for shower and sink, plus shampoo and conditioner and moisturiser. I also packed Earl Grey tea bags and coffee bags for the odd time i feel like a good coffee. Thank you very much for the information, which is much appreciated. .

4/12 - Airlie Beach private bus tour to Dingo Beach, Hideway Bay, Cape Gloucester Resort etc. $120 per hour for bus holding 7 or 13.. Is anyone interested in doing this private tour, plus possibly lunch at Cape Gloucester Resort (extra). These are my favourite places when I holiday at Airlie Beach.

The current situation is a real turn off for destination cruisers like I am. The ship is secondary to me.

Will passengers get some kind of credit for this non port visit cruise?
