  1. There is no liquor store or anything like it on the ship. RCL or NCL do this, but Regent (and I assume seaborne, silversea) don't sell liquor. Enjoy it while on board.
  2. ok, but how are you planning on using OBC to purchase bottles of liquor if there are no bottles to be bought on the ship.... ? 🙂
  3. Regent seemed to have used two Fairmonts last month...the Fairmont and the Fairmont Waterfront, right across from the cruise terminal.....even easier walk.
  4. yes, Blacklane is a "limo" company or more a limo scheduler it seems (like Uber for Limos). You book with them (any port, any city) and they send a "limo" (towncar, Big black SUV, etc). Used them a few times and always had good results. There are other companies for driving to LAX, but I don't have experience with them.
  5. I've use Blacklane in the past and will use them again.
  6. yes, Berth 46 is part of the port, but about 1 mile away. After a few changes, some of the limo services (car services) now have this as part of the options (last week they didn't). Outer Harbor/Berth 46, Miner Street 3011, San Pedro, 90731 Los Angeles, California would be the correct info.
  7. and that's why they have a doctor on board 🙂
  8. other than rebooting, I would clear the cache and try again. It's odd that you are stuck on your current cruise. You can also try to log in as a "private" browser window and see if that helps. Just looked at my account and all works as it should (could add a new cruise if I had one 🙂 )
  9. Entering Canada by land, and staying at the Regent assigned Hotel for a night. What is the destination for this trip as far as ArriveCan is concerned? The Hotel, or the ship the next day ? What is expected ? Thanks
  10. no worries... it should be great... if not... there are ways to make it great (can't guarantee the weather). Many years ago, we were on a cruise in the med, met a great couple from BrisVegas and connected. Great friends ever since. Enjoy your trip and meet great people.
  11. bring on what you want. Just talked to a good friend of mine who was on a recent voyage where they met a person who had shipped a whole case of his fav wine to be on board (his wine, not Regent). Regent was happy to serve at his table. Personally, don't get why he did this... as there are plenty of great selections on board.
  12. Interesting question and it depends on what the Birthday Boy prefers. I'm reading the suggestions and, while Pacific Rim is our fav restaurant (we love the food and presentations), I can understand the suggestions for P7. The decor and the layout seems better for a birthday celebration...layout, lighting, openess etc. Pacic Rim seems more intimate (we always get a corner table etc). If it was by birthday, DW would want to go to Pacific Rim (if you get my drift 🙂 ). Are you going with a group or just you two ?
  13. just got an email from Regent regarding an upcoming cruise from Vancouver to Alaska. I understand that Canda does no longer require a covid test to enter Canada, but does require a Covid Test when embarking in Canada. Regent advises to "complete a Covid-19 PCR test within 72 hours of arriving at the cruise terminal or an Antigen test from a lab or pharmacy within 48 hours of arriving at the terminal". Does the Inspire Antigen Home Test suffice for this as the convenience to do it at home would be nice. Has anyone done this particular test and how quick were the results. Website is a little confusing. TIA
  14. you should be way before final payment, so insurance quotes are still possible. Never used Travel guard, so I can't give input for this, but there are plenty of other insurance companies. We've used CSA in the past when we had to file a claim, all was handled quickly. Your TA should look at other companies as well.. if not...yes, a better TA might help. IMHO there is no point in getting final insurance before making final payment.... but always look at the fine print.
  15. Couple of ideas: 1. See what excursions they offer. You can use the OBC for the ones you have to pay for... 2. Depending on your amount of sea days, Regent will offer a bunch of special events. Wine tasting dinner (alwys nice imho ), Wine or whiskey tasting... or get a good bottle of wine to splurge. 3. There's always the "boutique" to get things... heck even op jewelry etc. Do some early christmas shopping 🙂 4. And you can also donate it to the crew fund I believe.
  16. can't send you a price list, but can assure you there are plenty of great reds available as the "standard" wines.
