  1. Apparently this cruise ends in NOLA, and she sails the next day from Mobile, so there must be a deadhead move from NOLA to Mobile on Oct.5. EM
  2. She's headed to you, NOLA... Miraflores Locks Next cam will be Pedro Miguel: https://multimedia.panama-canal.com/index.html
  3. I was just able to mock book a solo for October 26. The two prior were ‘sold out’. But the option is still there. EM
  4. There is no drop down box for the roll calls in the upper left. If you click right on the Find your roll call, it will take you to the MSC roll call board. You were likely clicking the drop-down menu for See posts about: and you click on Select ship and select the ship from the menu…which indeed does not have Seascape on it. EM
  5. Visit the Florida Departures board here under North American Homeports. They specialize in these questions. EM
  6. Get a copy of Rick Steves’ Mediterranean Cruise Ports and learn how to do the tours on your own. Or create even better excursions. EM
  7. Both times we did the Taormina tour the bus dropped us at a parking garage and there was no need for further transport into town. Both trips were from Catania, one Celebrity and one HAL. EM
  8. My banks machines have the ability to tap the card instead of putting in the slot. EM
  9. Viking Ocean is adults only, no casino. P&O-UK has two ships that are adult only. Saga cruise line is 50+. Other cruise lines will have itineraries over 7 days that will have a lot less children. EM
  10. Forgot about those junior OV cabins. There are junior balconies, too. EM
  11. I think you must have had one of the insides that they now call a junior inside. We had one on Divina also. On the US inaugural. At least it was only three nights. EM
  12. I thought Harvest Caye was just another Amber Cove/Grand Turk. Mahogany Bay could also be considered a private port. As for Ocean Cay, if you want serene, this is it. At least six beaches so not crowded. They had to reclaim everything from industrial waste so the palm trees are still growing. Water sports but no horseback riding…Buffet plus food trucks for burgers, etc. All are free except the seafood truck. EM
  13. Just looks to me as though people have been eating, leaving the empty places on the trays. That tells you what is good…and what isn’t. You can make a salad, have dessert, pizza. I remember small sandwiches. That was back in 2016 when I had to make a midnight raid on the buffet for my sister. We had ordered dinner, she had taken her diabetes pills, and was nibbling on a multigrain roll, when she turned to me and said ‘I have to go’. I knew immediately that the roll had buckwheat in it, the one thing she was allergic to. She had to leave and take some Benadryl. That would make her sleepy. It was the last night and I had visions of her sleeping it off and I would have to do the packing. But she went to the cabin, took an extra large dose which made her hyper so she could pack. But she couldn’t eat. At midnight, she sat straight up and sat there for a few minutes. I was trying to get to sleep. I asked if she was going to sleep sitting up. She said ‘I have to eat’. So I had to get dressed and hit the buffet. Small sandwich, little salad, little pizza…might have been a piece of fruit. Thank goodness for the late buffet. EM
  14. If you are not a member of cruisedeckplans, you should be. They have pics of 16004 & 16006, plus a video of 16003. Yes, there are two loungers on the upper deck. The cabin symbol key says the lower bed is a double sofa. EM
  15. And you need to understand that when it says one device, that’s what t means. The device you log in on first is the only device that can be used for that plan. If another member of the party also wants to use a device, they need a separate plan, or you buy the two device plan. EM
  16. It hasn’t happened to me, but if it does, I will do a print screen, tuck it into my Apple wallet if possible… but I will still print one out. EM
  17. What categories of cabin/experience are you comparing? On MSC you have fixed seating dining with Bella and Fantastica experience, no My Choice until Aurea. EM
  18. I am also going to put in plugs for Carnival and MSC. I have sailed Carnival extensively, although not on their newest, largest ships. But I think a 7 day cruise on the largest sailing from Pt. Canaveral ( urgently Mardi Gras) would suit. But currently I am sailing MSC, only six times thus far, but I have 10 days booked for December. An Aurea experience balcony would probably suit you, with My Choice dining and some spa perks. All of their cruises visit their private island, Ocean Cay Marine Reserve. They have taken an island in the Bahamas that was a manufacturing area with a lot of refuse and restored it back to a beach lovers paradise. At least six beaches. Water in the Bahamas may be a bit cool in March, but as you are from Nova Scotia it might feel good to you… Give both some consideration. EM
  19. Also, with the software before 2018 you could click on the username and see when the member last visited (as long as they were logged in) even if they didn’t post. I miss that feature. EM
  20. I think it would be a very long walk, especially with luggage. EM
  21. Sometimes cards will require extra verification. I had one that wasn’t processing because it said it was sending an email to authenticate and I was t getting it. Seems the card was using an old address that I still receive email for, but apparently, sometimes not. As soon as I contacted the card to erase the old email, everything went through. In the meantime, I used another card. EM
  22. There is a modest roll call on the roll call forum for Seascape. EM
