  1. It’s probably not necessary, but a good idea just so they know you do intend to take the second leg. No need to stress over checkin time, though. I’m always cautious and print the boarding pass, take it to guest services to make sure they know I am B2B. EM
  2. On the MSC ships I’ve been on the soda machines are for those with a drinks package, probably the non-alcoholic. I never have a package so I never looked to see if they had water. That’s in the buffet area, so there would be free water dispensed in the machines with iced tea and lemonade. But I have on,y sailed them from US. EM
  3. If you are on a B2B on the same ship, you can have them reprogrammed if you move to a different cabin…as long as it in the same muster station location (which is stamped on the bracelet). It’s possible they are ship specific. For instance if you are on Seaside, you cannot use a cruise card from Divina to turn on cabin lights. It has to be a Seaside card. So I suspect a bracelet from Seaside will not work on Meraviglia. EM
  4. What is too early to check in? You can check in as soon as you book, but you can’t get your docs/boarding pass until 20 days out. EM
  5. I have received them as a solo. Did you book direct, or use a TA? Some big box TAs don’t participate in the bidding program. EM
  6. I believe it will be by the balcony. The position alternates. Cabins 12208 and 12212 have the bed by the balcony, per pictures on cruisedeckplans.com. Counting further down, cabins 12220 and 1222( should also be by the balconies. EM

  8. Welcome to Cruise Critic. When I am visiting a port for the first time, I usually book the most basic city/port tour offered by the ship. Otherwise, you can join the Roll Call for your cruise and see if anyone is organizing tours. Lastly, or maybe it should be first…visit the Ports of Call board here for Mexican Riviera. EM
  9. It depends on the ports/state. They have to do it in Texas and NY. EM
  10. You scroll down the pages of this forum. EM
  11. From the MSC website, right above Important note
  12. The B is often difficult to recognize on the deck plan, unless you know what you are looking at. I am not sure if they have added it on all ship plans. Here are two examples. The first is on Seaside, we had cabin 14148. At the time we booked, there was no indication on the deck plans that there was a tub. And cabins with a tub are only for two because the bathroom takes up more space than one with a shower, so not space for the sofa bed or bunk sofa. The second is on Divina, we had cabin 8114. You can see the B better here, laying on its back. You have to learn to distinguish it from the symbols for bunk sofa, two uppers, etc. For instance there are some cabins that connect, one with tub and the other the two dots of a bunk sofa. Look at 14152 & 14156. The deck plan key on the website does not tell you what the B means. The deck plans on cruisedeckplans.com do. EM
  13. I read in another thread that Signature restaurants are ‘branded’ venues, perhaps like a franchise of a chain. I don’t remember the names, other than Venchi. EM
  14. You might also ask on the Ports of Call board for Europe that covers Spain. Also find out from Fred if their transportation to Santiago can handle a scooter/power chair, and if they can stow them, can you get up the steps into the bus. EM
  15. OP is on roll call for NCL Bliss in Jan, so looks like the new locks. EM
  16. Whether you can do this also depends on whether the cabin you want to keep can hold three guests. EM

  19. Which is exactly what happened after Concordia. Except most lines were already doing it. And it only changed after Covid, because those massed musters were a great venue to spread Covid.
  20. In Aurea portion of the MDR on Seaside we were served bottled from Acqua Panna, bottle left on table. Room temp, no ice. On the 3 day they opened the lower level MDR for My Choice for all, and just used the main entrance. I was seated in a different area and was served water from a pitcher if ice water. Some others around me were served Acqua Panna. And you can take the bottle with you.
  21. Dining area is usually carpeted, so no noise even if moving chairs to vacuum. Now, maybe if someone drops a large tray of dishes…
  22. The app disappeared with the platform shift in Oct. 2018. Go back to the main boards page and click on Need help using the forums. The top pinned topic is how to add CC shortcut to your iPhone Home Screen. EM
