  1. Has TA contacted Celebrity and confirmed?
  2. The portion of the daily gratuity rate that goes to the PRH is around $3.50 pp. I use some multiple of that to determine what I might leave as an extra amount based on the amount of "extra" service.
  3. Non-alcoholic drinks are included in the classic package. Both people in the cabin must book the same level of perks (cruise only, AI, Elevate etc). That is not the case with upgrade to premium as passengers can do that individually.
  4. We were on Constellation in April in a suite on deck 6. We could see it when we look up on deck 7. I think you will find it's the last cabin on the port side on deck 7.
  5. It's still advertised as available in suite upon request. I've never understood room service from Luminae as being standard. I have read here that some have had the experience as well as being able to get SR delivered for in-room dining. I believe these are 1 off and probably only happen for upper suites.
  6. Yes they took the comfortable chairs from Rendezvous. We found the new seating in Rendezvous somewhat stupid in the back where they have sofas facing each other and can't see the dance floor/band.
  7. OBC is never "Free". You have paid Celebrity for it. It's like doc fees when buying a car. Guaranteed profit.
  8. Frankly there is almost zero difference between MC and Retreat Lounge other than branding. The only concrete difference is the serving area they added. We really like what they did to the Connie MC leaving the dark paneling but doing grey/green carpet and cream colored upholstery.
  9. 3 weeks out your Edocs should be available and it's not tied to online checkin. You may need to call to see what's up with your Edocs (which contain the luggage tag page).
  10. For motive you only have to read the last paragraph of the "news" article "If money can be the reason why testing and vaccination requirements don't exist in hotels, airplanes, theme parks, concerts, and sporting events, then money should be a viable reason to consider dropping the testing requirement before taking a cruise."
  11. Virtuoso is a TA group your TA is probably a member of. I suspect there is some promo which is a collaboration between Celebrity and Virtuoso. At times a portion of the OBC given by the TA actually comes from Celebrity so it could be something like that especially if you know your booking is part of a group rate.
  12. Agree with the above about special needs and contacting Blu as soon as you board. Blu is not open during lunch but generally if you wander in there will be someone doing setup and you can speak with them. If you can't find anybody there go to the MDR where there will be a Matre'd there who can probably make arrangements for you to meet with the Blu Matre'd. As far as tomato soup I believe it's on the childrens menu so should be available nightly. I know some liver issues are highly sensitive to sodium so if that is an issue make sure they are aware.
  13. Yes 100 shares is required for shareholder benefit. Here is the online form https://rclshareholderbenefit.questionpro.com/
  14. eMed is just a company that sells Abbott Bionax Now tests (Lateral Flow Antigen) and includes a telemed service to monitor you taking the test and certify the results. These tests return results in 15 minutes and are accepted by Celebrity www.emed.com They are also available for sale via Optum which has a Celebrity specific link https://store.optum.com/celebrity-cruises-tests/
  15. Oh good a tipping thread🙂 Maybe we should discuss the proper tipping protocol for room service while in quarantine.
  16. It has been on Beverages since before the covid shutdown.
  17. For the most part yes. If I catch one on a ship I stay away from other people. To be completely honest would I cancel a cruise if I had a cold, probably not. But I'd certainly take precautions to not spread, like no MDR, Bars, Theater, Casino, Excursions while I was not feeling well.
  18. If it were all about you yes all would be great. The issue is you are carrying a highly contagious virus and are boarding a vessel with 3000-4000 other people. While I understand some of the statements about severity like a cold but I still get pretty pissed off when someone I've come in contact with gives me a cold and I feel like crap for a few days. People stay away if you know you are sick! It's not "all about you"
  19. It means it can be combined with a Celebrity "offer" like Always Included (or the current promo of the day like the current 60% off second passenger).
  20. Also make sure to get instructions for receiving compensation for your days in quarantine (refund/FCC)
  21. So your category is sold out but your CVP was still able to adjust the price lower? How are they able to see current pricing on a sold out category, my TA can't.
  22. Yes but probably shouldn't have. I think we all understand infectious diseases better now. Please don't be wandering around the ship or on excursions with any infectious disease including a "mild cold". You could be ruining vacation of many others.
  23. Same category wouldn't trigger a reprice. Call and it should be easily changed.
