We are boarding the Encore on the 17th of this month and hopefully (weather permitting!) we will be going to the evening concert at Ephesus. What sort of time do we get back to the ship and what happens about eating? We set off to Ephesus at 6pm so no time to eat before we go! Thanks very much!

Indeed! But when a dessert is described as “naval orange” we may have an issue! 🤣

We are booked on a Vietnam/Cambodia trip in February which includes a week's river cruise on this new boat. It was due to be launched in 2021 but it got put off until July of this year. I can find nothing at all about it and its cruises are now showing no availability until October. This makes me slightly suspicious and concerned that it is held up again! Does anyone know whether it has been launched?

And as for “naval” orange 😅

We have onboard credit from referring people who ask for referral vouchers as new cruisers and we also bought Carnival shares earlier this year so we get $250 on a 14 night cruise from that.

I had a couple of seriously bad G&T’s on our Ovation cruise in February. Tonic from a can that had been open a while ☹️ I learned to ask for the gin in the glass, two ice cubes (or it was full of ice!), a slice of lime and tonic on the side. They gave me a bottle of Fevertree each time then. Perfect!

Sandra - I think you will love Seabourn. We have sailed Azamara three times and enjoyed our cruises but Seabourn has our hearts! We are about to do our twelfth with them. We always dress smartly in an evening. Dresses or trousers and tops for me. My husband does wear a jacket but that’s because the Restaurant can be a bit chilly due to the aircon. If you want to be a bit more casual then the Colonnade, which has themed nights or Earth and Ocean are good for that. TK Grill and bar are both lovely venues. If you dress as you did on Azamara you will be fine. And we have friends who we met on Seabourn years ago and still keep in touch! As a fellow Yorkshire lass I know you will be fine!

I agree. Our issue was minor but because it wasn’t resolved it grew (possibly out of proportion!) but it was a matter of principle for us.

We also had an issue relating back to our February Ovation cruise. Eventually we contacted Natalya Leahy direct as we were so cross with the attitude and lack of helpfulness shown by head office. Within hours she replied to our email and has sorted this out for us. We too weren’t looking for compensation, rather an acknowledgment and an apology which previously weren’t forthcoming.
