  1. I have seen somewhere (could be FB), that Seabourn are not showing the World Cup.
  2. The “Gourmet Dining” section has “view more” in small blue letters. If you click on that it takes you to a much bigger section with lots of options to view.
  3. We board on the 11th February. Not impressed. Castries is not very nice.
  4. Yet another change! No Grenada, now Castries, St Lucia.
  5. I just looked at our schedule from February 11th, Ovation. We have two TK bookings, one for each week, neither now showing. We have email confirmation of both these bookings. Now what?!
  6. Your photos are astonishing, Fletcher. We really enjoyed looking at them. Thank you!
  7. Same for us, round trip Sint Maarten, 11th February for 2 weeks. We are disappointed to be missing St Barths and St Lucia.
  8. $79 for manicure and Shellac. I had one on Quest earlier this year and it was excellent if expensive!
  9. Make sure you are logged into your account and the reduced price should show.
  10. We have used Welcome Pickups a few times, including in Barcelona. Highly recommend them.
  11. On the topic of piped music, we were on the Quest late May/early June in the Adriatic. We had a fabulous cruise, only a couple of small issues not worth mentioning. BUT, the weather was boiling hot so we sought shade when on the ship. So one afternoon whilst docked in Brindisi we sat out at the stern on deck 5 to read in the shade. As we were docked we presumed the music we could hear was from the dock. Not so. It was piped in through speakers above us, not loud, but enough to disturb my reading. We asked for it to be turned off. (We were the only people sitting there). After a while the head bar person came and told us it was linked to all the music being played around the whole ship and she could maybe do it but it would be complicated. We said it didn’t matter, went and fetched earplugs and read like that. This was our tenth Seabourn and we do not remember piped music before. Am I wrong?
  12. Thanks for your help. Our friends were outside the terminal building when we arrived so it was easy!
  13. We are picking friends up on Tuesday morning and spending the day with them, driving to Winchester and lunching with them. Has anyone got recommendations on where to pick them up at the terminal? They have told us that they will be bussed to the terminal and we can see on Google maps that there are some 20 minute parking bays nearby. We aim to try to see them there and make a quick exit within the 20 minutes. Has anyone done this, or anything similar and can advise us? Thank you in advance.
  14. Thank you, Fletcher. I have really enjoyed reading your reports. Hope you got home safely and have been shopping for lots of candles!
  15. Correction! We are on the 11th February sailing for 2 weeks.
  16. Really enjoying your reports. Thank you for taking the time to post them.
  17. We are on the 18th Feb so will just miss you!
  18. I don't think they ever show on the itinerary, but believe they still happen. We hope so, anyway as we are going to the Caribbean in February!
  19. When we were on the Quest in May/June this year we paid $25 a day for the upgraded package. The quality wasn’t good enough for my other half to watch football so we cancelled it and got a refund. We did manage to do what we wanted with the included internet and also Facetimed our family.
  20. Thank you, but we have referred a few people so have our next two cruises accounted for with onboard credit. There are lots of people offering the credit if you look on the Referral section at the top. Just go to the last page and you will be able to link up with someone. So glad you have booked. You won’t be disappointed!
  21. Now have a look at the Referral section at the top and get yourself some onboard credit!
  22. Having just looked at the Ovation itinerary we really wouldn’t recommend that in April. June, July maybe. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any Portugal ports on the itinerary we looked at. Mainly France and northern Spain which because they are Atlantic facing have a higher risk of stormy/rainy weather in spring - totally different to Mediterranean Spain. Maybe look at the climate stats to help you decide.
