  1. OP is sailing in Europe where you can come and go as you please. Europe procedures are not like U.S. ports.
  2. Just enjoy the day. The lobby areas may be busy as those disembarking will be gathering in a condensed time period. If you booked a tour just follow the instructions. It will be like any other tour. Just make sure you don't book a dis-embarkment tour. These tours normally drop you off at the airport. You probably will receive some information in your cabin, make sure you read it and carry whatever documents, if any, are required. You should receive an intransit card. This card allows you to go to the front of any boarding line in the terminal. Depending on the port your re-boarding door may be the same as new passengers or it could be separate. I have had it both ways.
  3. These cruises are in Europe. Turn around day should be just like any other port day. Get off and on as you wish. You will have a single medallion and one on board account which closes out on your disembarkation day.
  4. Correction to my post 4 above. 16 month old not 16 year.
  5. That's what I thought. I have always seen that any OBC can be used in the casino and for any on board expense. It's just posted as a credit on your on board account.
  6. I'm sailing out of FLL this Feb and am booked to sail from S.F. in 2025. My information shows I'm sailing from S.F. next month, but the rest of the information is correct. Princess just does not have their programs running well. I can't seem to download the new app. Maybe my phone is too old or something. Gives me errors. I have read here that the new app works better. Have you tried it?
  7. Going on since maybe this past summer. I sent a redacted copy of monthly report showing ownership of the stock. Received the OBC in one day. I will not give them access to my account.
  8. Yes. You have a choice of a nice selection of normal desserts, ice cream, cheese cake, cakes, and so on. Some are always available, some vary each day. Unless you are 10 doubtful you will enjoy the special desserts. Exception, gelato if available on your ship.
  9. Almost certain that the cabin you booked has to have at least 3 berths, no matter how you actually sleep. If not then you have to change cabins. Unless your cruise and cruise promotion states that 3rd and 4th passengers in the cabin cruise for free then you have to pay for all three occupants in the cabin. If you have the plus or premier fare passengers one and two in the cabin are required to have the same fare. I don't believe you would want your 16 year old to have one of these fares. You would have to add the additional person as the 2nd passenger and move the 16 year old to the 3rd passenger. Did you actually pay for the cruise or have you placed deposit? In either case when you add the new person you most likely will have to pay the fares in effect at that time. Your situation is a good reason to use a T.A. or transfer your booking to a T.A. you can rely on.
  10. Do you have recent experience with this statement or are you just reading what Carnival Corp. has on their web site?
  11. Yes. Charge is $14.99 for those that have the standard fare. Sky Princess has Alfredo's Ocean Terrace and Vines ( i think). as casual dining locations. The site mentioned below has some menus. Note menus can change. https://profcruise.com/new-princess-casual-dining-menus/ Here are some photos of the specialty desserts. Fairly certain that you can also get gelato at the gelato bar in the piazza as a specialty dessert. I have also seen some photos of cakes. With the plus fare you can get 2 per day. Premium fare it's unlimited. https://profcruise.com/princess-premium-dessert-menu-with-prices/
  12. No limit on wine. It's one 750ml bottle per adult without charge for use in the cabin. Additional bottles are subject to the $20/bottle corkage fee and can be used anywhere on the ship.
  13. Premium Desserts. Probably something that you will not enjoy. But ask when on board. They do change. Casual Dining. These are 3 course meals. There are a few locations on the Sky. Alfredo's will probably be the most popular. They serve individual pizzas and other menu items. Alfredo's should be open for lunch and dinner. Other casual dining locations may only be open for dinner. Ocean Now. Order drinks and food on your smart device or on the cabin TV. It is delivered to wherever you are located. Waiters find you from the medallion location system. Specialty dining are upcharge restaurants. The Sky has the Crown Grill, Sabatini's and Bistro Sur la Mer.
  14. From your posting there is one parent and one legal dependent 16 years of age (no. 1). Then you have one adult over 21 and another 16 year old (no. 2) that is not a legal dependent of you or your friend. You are not really a family group. It seems to me that you would have to get written legal P of A for youth no. 2 to travel. I think it is possible for you and youth no. 2 to be booked into one cabin and then the other adult and your son to be booked into the second cabin. You may be able to switch once on board. You will require passports. Here is the legal text from the passage contract 5. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS; DRINKING; TOBACCO; GAMING; ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. The minimum Guest age to sail is 6 months of age at the time of embarkation in order to sail on Alaska, Canada/New England, Caribbean, Mexico, China, Europe (excluding Transatlantic), Japan (roundtrip) and Panama canal itineraries where there are more than 2 consecutive sea days, the minimum Guest age is 12 months of age at the time of embarkation in order to sail. No Guest under 21 years of age is permitted to book a cruise, and any Guest under 21 years of age must travel in a stateroom with a Guest 21 years or older who shall assume responsibility for their care during the cruise. For family groups booking multiple staterooms, the minimum age for at least one person in each stateroom is 16 years of age, provided they are traveling with a parent or legal guardian. We are unable to accept group reservations for student or youth groups that do not conform to our minimum age requirements. Each Guest agrees and warrants that he/she will supervise any Guest in his/her care at all times to ensure all policies, along with all other rules of the Carrier and Ship, are strictly adhered to by all Guests under their supervision. For cruises operating in Japan and Singapore all guests under the age of 20 must travel with a guest age 20 or older. For cruises on operating in Australia specific age limits apply and You should consult with Your travel advisor or refer to the relevant travel brochure for more information.
  15. Garage shuttles, if they are running, are located right by the garage pedestrian exits. Taxis at Heron are on the ground floor of the parking garage.
  16. Do you have the ability to stream? It's on ESPN. Ask at the casino bar.
  17. One idea. Drop the husband and luggage off at terminal 21. Drive over to the northport (Heron) garage and park. Take a garage shuttle or taxi back to terminal 21.
  18. Very much the same timing. Boarding usually begins around 11am or so.
  19. I think the reason was the agreement made as a result of an environmental law suite. One of the outcomes was that Princess would reduce plastic bottles. So Princess placed the language into their boarding rules. It's pretty difficult, if not impossible to, to eliminate water in plastic bottles, but the language is there.
  20. To add cash pre-cruise you actually have to charge your credit or debit card. Some use actual currency so their credit/debit accounts don't get hit. So, yes it is easy pre-cruise, but it's not the same.
  21. I have more than 500 days. Believe me, I'm not on life support yet. These days were accumulated over the last 20+ years. It's nice to have the comped laundry and the priority tender boarding when there happens to be a tender port. Beyond that I don't use the other benefits very much at all. I have been on other lines. Princess so far provides the experience I enjoy.
  22. XBGuy. I'm not in favor of the points for $$ spent system. You can already buy your way to most benefits with booking a full suite and the plus or premier fares. In the end it's the onboard experience, especially the quality and ease of dining, which attracts return passengers.
  23. Forget my posting above. Based on post no. 21 in the below thread if the lounge is operational you can book the sanctuary there. If operational you should receive an invite.
  24. Allow 2 hours for evening dinner. Probably shorter if you are in Reserve Class dining. You have to arrive 30 to 45 minutes early for production shows and good guest entertainers. Exception. If you have the premier fare then there is a section of reserved seats that are held until around 10 minutes before the show.
  25. If it is an off site location I don't envision transfer to the gate to be immediate at the start of boarding. If your goal is to be one of the 1st to the sanctuary I would be at the pier with the crowds when boarding begins.
