  1. But if you're planning on getting off at Granville Island (which is across the bridge), the other place in your photo - Bridges - is excellent!
  2. No, that's a different location! The other one is right next to the convention centre/torch
  3. Boo! I just did this last week with my kiddo and our bus had the headphone plug ins. But our headphones were wireless...lol
  4. If you have headphones with wire you should be able to plug them in under the window near your seat!
  5. Check out Tap and Barrell (at the Olympic torch - 5 minutes from Canada Place). Lots of local/craft beer on tap and decent food - you might even get happy hour! https://tapandbarrel.com/
  6. @Saint Greg my house is a 10 minute walk from Canada Place - if you need somewhere to leave your bag or even hang out, you're welcome to use it!
  7. Sadly, no. They even clarified it was in USD when someone raised that question...
  8. I sure wouldn't put much faith in Canada Post!
  9. $15USD shipping if no plus/premiere package
  10. Canadians can start ordering medallions to ship September 25th!
  11. Less than a regular suite but comparable to paying for two balconies - remember, you are paying full fare for four passengers! Real world example: Sapphire May 11 2024 14 day Alaska: Family suite is $4374 per person (times four) while Vista suite is $7,719 per person. Lowest balcony category is $4613 per person.
  12. One aspect that has been overlooked IMO is people who travel with kids. My kiddos have been sailing since they were 6 months old, both elite on Princess by the time they were 8. They much prefer to order room service or have dinner at Alfredos than sit in the dining room. They know how how to behave if/when they are in the dining room. Many kiddos do not. Now, instead of having those other options included, they are a charge (even with the packages - if 3rd and 4th are kids, they don't get this free) so, instead of having a quiet dining experience, other guests need to deal with those kids in the dining room.
  13. As a TA who books mainly Princess, I concur...I have unhappy clients, a few high end suite bookings that cancelled, and I'm doing all the legwork for no extra commission. This is NOT about the cost - it's about the way it was handled.
  14. For the package, yes...both pax 1 and 2 must have it. If you wish to purchase ONLY the drink package, one person may do so (or that has been how it always was, unless it has changed).
  15. My theory (which could be totally wrong) is that they need more bookings so they threw in a "theme" last minute, promoted it to TAs and now TAs will find guests with interest in the theme. I don't know why they wouldn't just promote it themselves, but I don't know why they do/don't do a lot of stuff...
  16. The blue Lavazza coffee is free, self serve in buffet! The menus are all charged (or included in packages).
  17. Not when I took the picture! Boarding hadn’t started so no guests onboard yet.
  18. It's the Princess site that only TAs can access, so yes...
  19. Tomorrow's Princess webinar promises BIG NEWS for Canadians. Maybe this is the medallion shipping we are all waiting for...
