  1. I bet you can still go up there for drinks. I don't think it will be at all crowded like it used to be. Although some people will go up there to socialize, many people went because it was the only place to get their free drinks. Between AI and the fact that you can get your elite drink at any bar, I don't think you'll see crowds.
  2. This cruise must be very low demand. Normally people who don't gamble don't get free cabin offers. Sometimes maybe 10 - 50 % off, but usually not free.
  3. Same for us and we've always found enough to eat. And it is very reasonably priced.
  4. I found this online, does this no longer work? If you have an American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card or a linked device, you can use it to pay for travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal readers. Just look for the contactless payment symbol
  5. Corkage fee is only if you take it to a restaurant. You are also welcome to bring on two bottles per person of wine at embarkation. I prefer to take it in my carry-on so that I don't have to go claim my suitcases with wine in them from Celebrity. If you take them in the carry-on, it just goes through the screening machine and you're on your way, no corkage fee.
  6. Hand shuffle on blackjack. I believe 6 decks, but not positive about that.
  7. I love blu, But that sunset Veranda on an Alaskan cruise or on any cruise for that matter, cannot be beat
  8. .A couple years ago we were in Hawaii and our beds were stuck in LA. Fortunately had a relative that was going to go to the airport, but it took her almost 2 hours to find the bags. If I had an AirTag at that time, it would've really helped out.
  9. Thank you for the great information. I would love to do the wild Australia experience, however right now it was not available due to Covid concerns, but I am still hopeful that in six months it's possible that they will reinstate it. The other suggestions are also great so thanks again. The other suggestions are also great so thanks again.
  10. And then they stopped allowing self service at the buffet and norovirus seemed to disappear. I wish they would at least keep up with serving at the buffet
  11. For me, is that I had multiple great experiences with Emed, no problems, even with ships Wi-Fi it was fine. Proctors have been great, no wait time. I’m sure other sites are good, I’m just a stick to what works type person.
  12. My IMG insurance would cover that scenario. I would suggest you look at the insurance discussion board for more info.
  13. On one ship this year they did not have trivia in Blu for some reason. The waiter offered to go get some for me during breakfast, but I said no because I didn't want him to have to run to the main dining room. After that I always grabbed a few extra at lunch for dinner the next day. I wasn't taking them home. I agree that that would be rude
  14. A heck of a lot cheaper to just insure your deposit.
  15. I tried to contact the company you used but they are not reachable. I know Covid probably did a number on them! But I did find another good alternative. Thanks for your help!
  16. These are all wonderful suggestions. I will be in Sydney on February 7, 8, 9.
  17. They sent me back a very nice email and said that they would not know their summer schedule until October, and let me know I should check online at that time. I did find a significantly cheaper excursion through Shore excursion group which is a train ride out and then coming back it's on a coach and it points out the highlights of the city and then drops you off for some walk time along the beach at the end before it takes you back to the ship. If the railway is open this is what I would do. It is bookable now, with the understanding that if it doesn't run they will refund your money.
