DISNEY SPRINGS/AIRPORT RETURN EXCURSION
PIR8LUVR replied to vadersprincess12's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Probably about 4 hours. The shuttle probably leaves between 9 and 9:30 and takes about an hour to get there. You probably get back on the shuttle between 2 and 2:30. -
Earliest time off the ship in Port Canaveral
PIR8LUVR replied to colesc15's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I saw a post yesterday where a woman got off Allure at 6:40 am. But, she is Diamond Plus and was a Suite Guest so she had priority departure. She said she was the third person off the ship. -

Best way to get to and from Orlando Airport to Port Canaveral?

I second Cruise Control! They are great! -
We went whale watching in Juneau last summer, also with the company that provides money back if you don't see a whale. We saw so many whales and several up close. It was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had.

Guaranteed rooms/Obstructed views
PIR8LUVR replied to Buffettphan1's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We got a guaranteed balcony for a cruise on Quantum to Alaska last summer. We'd been before so decided to take a chance on the guarantee because of the price. Our obstruction was the overhang at the top so it was not a problem. -
Alllure entertainment options on 3/4 night cruises
PIR8LUVR replied to maggieq's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We are on a 4 night on Allure at the end of February and I noticed the entertainment options were available to reserve last week. The Comedy show was one. -
Airline Reservations to Seattle for cruise in July
PIR8LUVR replied to Scrapbookhappy11's topic in Cruise Air
I'm in Greenville, NC, and we did an Alaskan cruise from Seattle last year. The best deal I found was on Alaskan Airlines out of RDU (American from RDU to Dallas Forth Worth, then Alaskan from there to Seattle). We flew home direct on Delta. It was actually cheaper for us to book one-way flights on different carriers, so check that out. I would wait until after the new year to book. Experts say that the best prices are about 6-8 weeks out. -
There are excursions where you can enjoy local seafood!

Luggage Tags and entertainment quantum

We sail on the 31st and got our docs on Saturday. @FloatyBoatyAgain what are the themes for the shows you mentioned? -
Alaska is glorious. I'd get the balcony. We probably spent more time on our balcony when we went to Alaska than any other time. We are going back in August!

Not necessarily. I know that is what the site says, but I used the RoyalUp link and put in a bid about 60 days out.

We've had cabins right by the elevators multiple times and never heard noise from them. -
Woonder of the Seas Best Dining
PIR8LUVR replied to cusematt4's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I was on Wonder a few months ago. 150 Central Park and Chops are definitely worth it. Unless something has changed, they have Giovanni's instead of Jamie's. We ate there several times, it was good but not upscale. I'd like to go to Wonderland for the experience, but I'm sure I'd need another meal soon after. 🤣 Hooked and Mason Jar were good. We wish we'd gone to Mason Jar for brunch. We went for dinner, the appetizers and dessert were really good, but the entree was just ok. Same with Hooked. We live in coastal NC and have access to great seafood year round so we are pickier about seafood. -
This is exactly what I plan to do on Friday when I can check-in for mine on Quantum.
