Are the ships' medical centers CUURENTLY providing Paxlovid for those testing positive for Covid? I know that it may not be free, but wanting to know if it's available if needed.

We're doing a port stop on Martinique for the first time. What have those of you who have been there before found is the best way to exchange dollars for Euros (for taxi, etc.)? Our bank charges a $20 fee to do so, or is that what we can expect to pay regardless how we exchange? Are there ATMs that are convenient in the port, thinking that may be the best way.

I was able to change our email preference address in my profile, but couldn't change our log one "name" that was the old address or password as Princess sent the verification email to the old address, which we can't access anymore!

Also, if you choose to be completely naked, the massage therapist will not (or shouldn't!) touch the area that would be covered by underwear.

I think the water at the buffet may be filtered to take out the chlorine taste? I've always thought there was more of that taste from the stateroom tap, anyway.

I tried the new app to check in for our February cruises - I put in a new cc number for Onboard, it did not carry over to the Shoreside part. I just exited without filling that in, so it shows me as 6 of 7 steps completed. The old app also shows me at 6 of 7 because we're not having the Medallions shipped. From what I've read elsewhere, should not be a problem, we'll see what happens!

Thanks for your input - when he got the ICD the phone he had did not support the app. He's since gotten a new phone but was told it's either one or the other. I'll have to give the Medtronic folks a call and ask if he can use the app if the scanner is left at home.

I posted this question on another forum but will also here - has anyone had to bring their bedside "communicator" along, and if so, was it easy to connect it to the ship wi-fi (as we won't have cellular access)? This is for a Medtronic ICD that was implanted in November. Need to check with cardiologist if needed for the "routine" data transmission while we're on the cruise but want to have info before we talk to him.

Yes, my husband also has a Medtronic device (got it in Nov) and the info from them is what you said, it's ok to walk through the scanners (just don't stop halfway). My question is if anyone has taken their bedside scanner with them. Were you able to connect to the ship's wi-fi to transmit dara if needed? We will be on Princess in February, still need to find out if "Comminicator" has to be taken along.

I was able to fill everything else in, however have not seen anything indicating a "Boarding Pass."

I just downloaded the new app to do our check-in for upcoming cruise, still have the old app, too. When I got to the payment section, I did not fill in the shoreside part, just hit "Continue later." So I do not have a check by Payments. I then went to the old app - it also has a Shoreside tab in the payments section but just has an "Exit" box that I tapped without filling in information. The old app has my Payments section with a checkmark!

@reedprincess, do you know how much chair rental is at Pigeon Island Park? Trying to nail down all the options that appeal to us as much as possible in order to budget how much cash we'll need.

Does anyone who've done a taxi to the botannical gardens remember the approximate fare? Trying to get an idea of taxi prices via google has been less than helpful. TIA.
