We made a 10:15 on SW in January. Did self assist, had transportation lined up and had TSA pre check.

We are taking 2, 18 YO Seniors from high school on a cruise without their parents, staying with other adults. We were told to have a notarized letters for taking them. What say you? Seems weird to me since they are legally consenting adults. Thanks.

Should be. There are always tour operators when you get off the ship. Some inside the port area and some outside the gates.

Yes US $. Taking a bus allows you to see so much more of the islane the way people live and work. GC is a very safe place to visit. Although you always need to be aware of your sourroundings.

You could walk around town lots to experience or see if your driver will drop you off at the beach area and take a bus back.

Take the public bus. When exiting the port walk straight up the road and there will be the center of town and catch one there. Couple bux I think. I am not sure which one, someone will chime in. That is what were planning to do in March.

I made a 10:15 ,2 weeks ago from Port Canaveral to MCO. Had transportation all lined up and have TSA pre-check. Go for it, live on the edge !!

Ship board excursion question

Sorry for not being clear. I did not want to ride the bus back to the port. I am thinking about taking a taxi to paradise Beach to meet up with the rest of the family and not getting back on the bus. Catching a ride from the end of the ATV excursion as this would save time not going all the way back to be dropped off. Thanks. -
Has anyone taken a ship board excursion and after the excursion is over taken a taxi to do something else rather than go back immediatly to the ship? Some people we are traveling with will absoutly not take an excursion from that is not offered by RCI. This will be in Cozumel and the ATV tour through RCI. I hope this makes sence. Thanks

Ok, so we were able to check in today and as I was coming to the end I see wher it states you have to have the RCI APP on your phone to board the ship. Who has boarded and not had to have the APP to embark? I do not use a smart phone and we try and stay away from such devices. Crazy hu? Thanks.

I received an email from PB inquiring about PAYG and they mentioned that the taxi drivers were diricting people away from their club. Told me not to listen to them and have them drive us there. If that is where you want to go then be firm with the driver.

There is a small beach area right by the ship. We saw people snorkeling there. Many said there was a baracuda lurking about.

Go for it! If somehow they see it or check your bags, just throw it away. I have taken my softside cooler off the ship with beers and waters and no one has ever checked that. -
We like to live on the edge, have a 10:15 flight with TSA Pre Check, carrying off luggage and car service scheduled for 8 am. If all goes as planned then we make it if not, rut roh!! Thanks.
