  1. I just went through his Seattle portion. Thank you again ObstructedView2!!!
  2. Thank you all so much! yes that is the one I was looking for. My daughter is in Seattle for a last minute trip and I love how Saint Greg is detailed with this city tours prior to his cruises! He is great!
  3. I have been searching for his live review where he stayed pre cruise in Seattle. For some reason I cannot locate it (I am sure that I am not looking in the right places). If anyone can provide the link I would appreciate it. Thank you!

  5. I finally remembered that you were sailing this week! it looks like you are having a great time, after the airlines snafu. Enjoy your cruise! I love your reviews!
  6. was on the horizon end of april. i had social package and imessage worked for the first three days and then not again. my husband did not have any package and his imessage worked the entire 8 days. i figured considered myself lucky if it worked at all with social package and especially no package. whatsapp worked perfectly as it should.
  7. Thank you Sid for another great and informative review! It is awesome that you take the time to bring us all along with you! P.S. I love the salt and pepper shakers
  8. Hurrican Irma anyone? That one was bad for SWF also.
  9. Sid, this is sooo me! Looking forward to another great review!!!! Thank you for taking us along!
  10. Megan, when do you sail next? I love your reviews!!
  11. I came off the Horizon this past Sunday and bought the Social Package. I used Whatsapp to converse with kids back home. imessage also worked for the first few days but then that stopped working so I went back to Whatsapp. You can aslo send/receive pictures through the app which is great too!
  12. I did say that the guests were nicely waiting.
  13. It was unusual in my situation also as I have never had a problem with it on previous trips. When I nicely pressed the fact after being told no, I mentioned that I thought it was a Platinum benefit. He then told us to go ahead to leave immediately after putting carryon in closet. All they had left to do was vaccuum the room, so it was not that the room had to be cleaned according to his partner. They were both nice, I do not mean to sound like they were rude. Too many rooms for these poor stewards. And yes we were shocked that the actual boarding onto the ship was 10:15! The poor workers at Guy burgers and Blue Iguana were not ready to serve lunch yet and people were nicely waiting in line.
  14. mz-s true it would have been ready earlier. my complaint was that as platinum i am allowed to drop my carryon in stateroom when i board, i even had the letter stating so with me, but i was given a hard time by the steward. i did not expect to have the stateroom ready. with that being said, our steward has so many rooms to clean that he was working most of the day every day and he did a good job on my room.
  15. April 29 Horizon we were told to sit in a specific area, however we are Platinum and were given a O boarding card and boarded according to zone. Actually after the woman called the K zone she then said it was open boarding. Did not appear that status mattered. Boarding began at 10:00 AM and we were on the ship by 10:15 which was great except that the room steward did not want us to drop our carryon in the room even though we printed off the Christine Duffy letter that we received a few days before that allowed for Platinums to drop off luggage in room and leave.
  16. i took the second slot 10:30-11:00. guess that makes sense.
  17. i am platinum and checked in 48 hours prior to regular checking (platinum perk). I received B01 boarding. Is this not strange? I can only imagine how far back the non priority people got for their boarding group two days later than me.
  18. we are doing the ABCs on Horizon next weekend. Can't wait. I would love an 8 day on Celebration so I am happy that I happened upon this thread and now know that there are 8 day Celebration itineraries! Thanks mz-5!
  19. i realize that southern caribbean itineraries are 8 days, however every celebration cruise that i have looked at was 7 days. I see now that they do have some 8 days in 2024. my apologies mz-s.
  20. Thank you for posting the Celebration menu! It looks very similar to what I remember on past visits to Cucina and I will be very excited to eat there again on my trip in December!
  21. Thanks for posting. I went to explore ship and then to dining and then to Cucina and it did not have the option to see menu. I thought a poster on a previous page said that the menu was limited items for the YTD diners? This menu looks similar to when we ate there last year?
  22. Actually i just visited carnival.com and explored the Celebration dining areas and there is a menu for Rudi's but not for Cucina. Anyone who has a dinner menu for them could you please share? or Mardi Gras since its a sister ship? Thanks
  23. can someone please post the Cucina Menu for dinner on Mardi Gras/Celebration? I thought it was the same menu as the other ships just included for dinner for YTD. And I also thought that I had read that The Pig and Anchor was included for YTD dinner also. Is that menu different?
